Charmouth Cottage is a superb holiday property in a great location with sea views from an elevated deck area. Well equipped, spacious with a charming interior. Only ten minute’s walk to the beach and conveniently located near the centre of the village. A fabulous cottage, furnished to a high standard with everything you would need for a memorable holiday by the coast.  This delightful house has a unique 'upside down' design and benefits from a large open plan style living area incorporating a generous sized kitchen, big dining area and comfortable lounge.  There is an inviting deck with outdoor seating from which to enjoy Al Fresco dining and absorb the lovely views of Lyme Bay and the surrounding area.  Located in a quiet lane which leads to the beach, the cottage offers ideal 'home from home' comforts.

Located in the heart of this lovely West Dorset seaside village, and famously featured in the television series Broadchurch.  Charmouth has a small selection of shops and a post office as well as pubs, cafes and restaurants. The Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre on the seafront provides a wealth of information about local geology, rock pooling and fossil collecting. There is also a large park, with a well-equipped children's playground nearby. A great location for walkers; the South West Coast footpath and a network of inland footpaths allow visitors to explore the stunning West Dorset coast and countryside. There are also regular bus routes running through the village along the Jurassic coast and it's only a five minute drive to the historic seaside town of Lyme Regis with its famous Cobb Harbour.

Family bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC.  Stairs to first floor, Cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin.  Open plan living area.  Generous sized Kitchen, fitted with oven, hob, tall fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.    Large dining area with table and chairs which leads to a comfortable living room with sofa and armchairs, Flat-screen TV.  Door to outside deck area with additional seating and dining table wih parasol.

Very well equipped cottage with large recreation areas (kitchen,dining and lounge).

Upside down layout really works well, with breakfast on the veranda our favourite feature. We rate everything as excellent, including the price. Many enjoyable memories of the cottage and Charmouth.

We all had a lovely time and felt very at home a lovely location in a beautiful place . Stunning views over to the sea . We shall undoubtedly return.
