Description

Cliff Crest is a magnificent property nestled on the bank of the estuary in Kingsbridge in the South Hams. The well appointed living room, modern kitchen, dining area, both double bedrooms and large terrace all have views over the water. There really is no better way to enjoy this property than by dining al fresco style with a glass of wine in hand whilst enjoying the views of the wildlife and activity on the water. When the tide is low why not take the opportunity to stroll along the foreshore, accessed by private steps, where you can see a vast array of local birdlife or just take in some fresh Devon air. A slipway near to Cliff Crest also provides good access for boating or kayaking. Just 5 minutes walk from the property you will find the popular waterside Crabshell Inn and a further short walk along the embankment will take you to the town centre and square which is host to a number of restaurants, shops and Inns. From here you can also catch the Rivermaid passenger ferry where you can take a daytrip to nearby Salcombe. Cliff Crest really is a luxury property which is both peaceful and tranquil and will not disappoint.

Front door to hall leading to bedroom 1 with 5ft bed, basin, TV with freeview. Bedroom 2 with 5 ft bed, basin. Bedroom 3 with 3ft twin beds, basin. Family bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Down stairs to hall leading to living room with two 2 seater sofas. 2 armchairs, TV (freesat), DVD, gas fire, access to office, access to terrace. Kitchen with Corian surfaces, electric cooker and hob, electric oven (can be used as steam oven),  large fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso machine (capsules not provided). Dining area to seat 6 and additional seating area with access to terrace. Also off hall Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer and shower room with walk in shower, basin and WC.

Large terrace with panoramic views of the estuary and quality outdoor furniture, table and parasol. Steps down to garden with private steps to the foreshore.

Parking for maximum of 2 cars on shared drive. Please park considerately and do not leave cars in turning or marked 'no parking' areas as this will restrict access for the next door neighbour. If you require additiuonal parking there are numerous residential areas not far from the property where cars can be left.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the views from the front and side of the property were simply stunning. Just a shame there was a busy, quite noisy road behind which we weren't aware of when we booked however, we would definitely recommend and book again.

Delighted you had a great holiday. Yes, the main road is behind the house, but Cliff Crest is we think sufficiently below the road to block off most of the traffic noise and we think the location and views more than make up for it.

An extremely well equipped property with a lot of attention to detail and tasteful modern furnishings and a splendid panoramic view. It was very clean and tidy with both milk in the 'fridge and cakes for tea! We will be back.

What a wonderful place to stay! We wanted for nothing - very, very well equipped. The house is beautifully decorated (to a very high standard) and set in a wonderful location with amazing views. We felt at home straightaway - with a warm welcome from Melanie.

We came to rest and recharge our batteries and Cliff Crest totally delivered the environment for that. Perfect location – easy access to the area yet on the terrace you could be in the middle of nowhere. The house is very well equipped. It took us just under 2hrs to enjoy that first glass of wine! The binoculars and wildlife books are a great finishing touch (we spotted little Egrets and a family of Shelducks) three words to describe the stay? Perfect, perfect, perfect.
