This traditional terraced cottage is situated within easy walking distance of the centre of Salcombe, a popular seaside destination in beautiful South Devon. Clivedale is modernised throughout with all the facilities required by discerning holidaymakers it features an open plan living area and modern kitchen which opens onto a rear garden with terraces and sloping lawn. The town itself is a great place to visit with sandy beaches, plenty of pubs and restaurants, shops and a lively cafe atmosphere meaning that you will never be short of things to keep all ages entertained and the boating and yachting activity on the water provides an entertaining and ever changing backdrop to this bustling town.

Hallway to open plan living room with natural wood flooring. Two sofas and a window seat surround a period real fire (logs can be purchased locally), TV and DVD. Dining area seating 8 adjacent to modern kitchen with ceramic hob, oven/grill under and dishwasher. Archway to utility room with washing machine, fridge and freezer and microwave. Wet room with shower, hand basin and WC. Small rear conservatory which opens onto the rear garden. First floor: Family bathroom with shower, bath, hand basin and WC. Front double bedroom with 6ft double, wall mounted TV and en-suite shower room with hand basin and WC. Twin room with two 3ft beds. Second floor in attic space:Twin bedroom with two 3ft beds and en-suite cloakroom with hand basin and WC. Bunk bedroom with two 3ft bunk beds.
A couple of steps up to a paved patio with garden table and chairs and barbecue. Lawn bordered with shrubs gently rises to another patio with picnic bench and views of the estuary.
For one medium car. Additional council pay and display parking in other nearby car parks.

- Local Facilities: Sandy beaches at North and South Sands 1 mile. Smalls Cove, Mill Bay, Sunny Cove across estuary by foot ferry on the East Portlemouth side. Co-op shop 200 yards, other shops, bars and restaurants 5 minutes’ walk (fairly level). Kingsbridge with all facilities 6 miles.
We had a lovely week in Salcombe and the south hams. The weather was superb and the house ideal for our needs.

Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful house - sunshine all day in the garden - really well equipped and in a great location. Could not have asked for a better house.
We would also just like to say thank you to the owners of the property, we have not had direct contact from an owner before but it was most welcome in the run up to the stay and during as well. We would also like to say thank you to them and the Toadhall staff member who arranged to have our little girls Bunny teddy sent home to us!
A really lovely house with plenty of space for our family. Extremely comfortable, clean and cosy. The house was well-equipped for all our needs. The garden was lovely and would have been happily used by us all if the weather had been better. Great location just 5 minute's walk from the pubs, restaurants and shops of Salcombe, The owners of the property were extremely pleasant and helpful.

Great location. Lovely sitting room, first floor bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen a little on the small side but fine for the two of us.
Very pleased with the house in a good location, we were also lucky to win the competition that Toad Hall were running for some stand up paddle boarding that we all enjoyed
Stayed at Clivedale several times now and it has exactly what we need every time , brilliant for the dogs, great having the open fire in Winter time. Hopefully we will spend many more weeks there.
Excellent location, stylish decor, classy local wall art in every room. Extensive kitchen and laundry equipment. Everything worked well, including the free wifi . Tidy and well stocked garden. It took about two minutes for it to feel like home ! Excellent property.
House was lovely-when the oven broke down Toad Hall came out the next morning with a small replacement cooker & arranged for the electrician to visit within the hour!!
We really enjoyed our stay at Clivedale but having to drive the three miles to Kingsbridge for a decent supermarket was a bit of a chore. The house was lovely but we did have difficulty getting through the front door and a neighbour had to rescue us. The owner did come two days later to fix same. All that said we would stay at this location again and would recommend it to others considering a relaxing break.
The house was wonderful and perfect for our stay. The only suggestion we would like to make is a an outside light at the back of the property would improve the situation for when sat out eating in the evening. Thanks
