April 2018

We loved our long weekend at the property! Lots of space and loved all the games in the cupboard. Zoe

January 2018

A lovely and comfortable cottage in a fantastic location. Deer running past, just a few yards from the house. We had a wet and very muddy week - but it must be spectacular in good weather. But despite the mud we all had a really enjoyable time. Would definitely go again.

November 2017

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dell Cottage. The location is idyllic and unbeatable. This was especially appreciated as I am awaiting a hip replacement and unable to do any walking, so it was lovely that the nature came to us!

October 2017

i had a very pleasant stay - my 16th visit to Dell but my first on my own since losing my husband in January this year. It is such a lovely place that I fully intend to return in 2018. Grateful thanks to the owners for allowing guests to stay at Dell Cottage which was much cleaner this time.

September 2017

We love it there and relax after a busy summer and will definitely return. Thank you

August 2017

We enjoyed our stay, the location, garden and the wildlife made for an enjoyable stay ( second visit)

August 2017

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the children particularly loved having animals right outside the fence. One comment - it was quite difficult to find the house due to the sign being at ground level and overgrown with nettles. A simple thing to remedy!

July 2017

Lovely setting, saw playful deer one evening

July 2017

Fantastic! Lovely house. Very well equipped. Very spacious. Gorgeous setting - so tranquil and relaxing. Fabulous pub a short walk away. Would highly recommend. Thank you. We had a great stay.

July 2017

This is the second year we have stayed at Dell Cottage and this time there was a distinct improvement in the cleanliness and standard of external furnishings. The oven remains out of order. We had an excellent holiday again due to the position of this house which is simply idyllic.

May 2017

Location absolutely fantastic. Open aspect at front of house lovely to watch ponies. Plenty of space inside and outside the house (there were only 2 of us!!). Good road connection.

April 2017

This was our second visit to Dell Cottage (we also stayed in 2015) and we absolutely love staying here with our children. We feel we need to feedback on a number of things which now need attention. The dishwasher flooded slightly on the last day under the sink - although was not really working properly throughout our stay - it would keep washing for long periods of time and the detergent dispenser would not shut properly. We informed contact when we left of the flooding. Only one oven works - which was actually the case two years ago. It is the left handside one. New patio furniture would be a good investment - still the same as two years ago and falling to bits. Loose patio slab - come out the main kitchen doors and turn right - on the edge by the rail - very dangerous. General maintenance on the chairs in the kitchen. The floor in the kitchen was really dirty - I don't think it had been cleaned for quite some time. The shower in the main bathroom leaks on to the bathroom floor. None of the above will put us off renting this property again, but I do feel that the house does need some attention and I don't think the above would cost that much to rectify. I hope you find this useful. Kind regards Jo

November 2016

I don't have adequate words to describe just how much we enjoyed our stay at Dell Cottage, the house is all we expected, comfortable, warm, large and well equipped, but the location exceeds anything we could have dreamed of. We had ponies and Deer walk past the house, there was a Badger set not 50 yards away, a huge variety of birds in the garden, but the forest just outside the garden wall was what we wanted and it was spectacular. We walked the dog every day for hours in there, and each day a different walk, it is a magical place, we even saw and photographed a white Hart in the forest, truly special. We were so sad to leave but we will most definitely be coming back sometime.

October 2016

Fabulous house and the location couldn't get any better than it is, home from home feeling, will certainly recommend it

January 2015

A glorious holiday in a stunning location, we have really enjoyed the wildlife!
