Dartmoor National Park in the beautiful county of Devon is a romantic and magical place and this delightful cottage nestles amongst wooded countryside on the edge of the moor, within striking distance of the coast. There are spectacular views from the lounge over the garden and down the valley to the old mill with the sound of the river drifting up the hill. This is great walking country and there is also a delightful cycle route which shadows the river Plym down towards Plymouth leaving you no excuse for not packing the hiking gear, strapping the bikes to the back of the car and bringing the dog. This 1930's bungalow is almost all on one level, apart from a few steps down to one double bedroom and has been sympathetically refurbished with a modern kitchen, a cosy living room with pretty views, 3 comfortable bedrooms and a separate bathroom and shower room. End O Moor has plenty of parking and is surrounded by a large garden with a sunny front terrace, equipped with garden table and chairs, a perfect spot for alfresco dining in the summer. The garden is home to visiting wildlife, including pheasants, falcons and very occasionally a visiting deer from the moor and the nearby river provides a cool sanctuary on a warm sunny day to paddle or bathe.Celtic Cornwall, the North coast of Devon and the golden beaches of the South Hams are all readily accessible and we can't think of a better place to appreciate true peace and quiet amongst beautiful surroundings. Rock climbing adventure days take place on natural rock at The Dewerstone near Shaugh Prior. This climbing and abseiling adventure on Dartmoor is a great outdoor activity to test your mind and body!

We enjoyed our stay very much. My personal view was that some of the decor looked a little tired (eg the bathroom window transfer (to make it opaque) was peeling off) but I have to say my partner disagreed with me and thought it was all splendid and it certainly wasn't enough to put me off re-booking if we wanted to be in the area again.
Enjoyed it very much - ideal location for both moor and coast
Loved the bungalow- it was ideally situated for exploring southern part of Dartmoor- it was very peaceful and private. Would have just liked a suggestion to take huge supply of bird food, so I wouldn't have to experience a guilt trip when the robins glared at me through the bedroom window- the variety of birds was amazing!
Yes, sorry about that. Pesky little so and so's expect regular feeding now. Give 'em and inch and they take a mile! Glad you had a lovely time despite the morning guilt trips.

Yes had a wonderful time - this is our third visit!
A lovely cottage in a great location for us (we have relatives in Ivybridge). Thoroughly enjoyed the bird watching and the views.
We found the bungalow was lovely and clean when we arrived, we also tried to leave it the same when we left. It was all the little extras that made it so special, games in the cupboard, dish cloth, which I often forget, but didn't this time!!!! A barbecue is always a bonus when you are on holiday. Most of all with this place was the lovely gardens to sit out in anytime of day or evening. A wonderful place to stay and would thoroughly recommend.
Lovely quiet area, enjoyed watching the wildlife in the garden, birds, ducks and deer. Plenty of lovely walks within a few minutes of the bungalow, and a short drive to the moors where you get to see the wild ponies. The bungalow has good sized double bedrooms with plenty of storage space, the kitchen is very well supplied with everything you could need. The owners had supplied tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits which was great after a long drive.
End O Moor was as the brochure and as we expected. Lovely and clean and well fitted.
What a lovely week we had in such a glorious spot. The weather has been sunny every day, but I am sure that even if the sun wasn't shining this place would still be enchanting. The lovely views, the birdsong, the deer in the garden in the evening and the lovely walks all made it very homely and magical. Would definitely love to come again
Arrived to a lovely cottage and idyllic setting. An ideal place to explore beautiful Devon. Lovely clean and warm cottage. Would recommend it and have to come again. A lovely garden for our dog!
Lovely place to go walking with lots of wildlife to see. The deer came into the garden several times and plenty of birds used the feeders. So quiet, a great place to re-charge your batteries!
Many thanks for a delightful week at End O Moor. We got on very well with our neighbours... a lovely couple (of ponies) who chatted to us everyday over the fence! Already missing them very much but looking forward to coming back!
