We had a lovely stay at Fern Cottage and the welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits and milk was a nice touch. We appreciated Waitrose being within walking distance.
We really enjoyed our stay at Fern Cottage, great location in Lymington, very quiet, plus a car parking space. We could walk to the shops and restaurants.
We had a wonderful time. The cottage was warm, cosy and comfortable in spite of wet and windy weather. Plenty to do in the area. Great place to stay. Thanks
Lovely home from home
A lovely cottage and a great holiday. One of the twin beds collapsed during the night on the Tuesday and I had to sleep on the settee for the rest of the night. The bed was rapidly repaired the next day.It appeared to be a fault in the manufacture of the wooden side rail. But it added a talking point to the holiday! Thanks.
Great stay in a lovely house. In a quiet but convenient location, very well equipped.
Yes, we enjoyed Lymington very much and were struck by how friendly and helpful everyone in the town was. I also used the local swimming pool at the leisure centre and it was a great facility.
Yes it was very good, the stairs were quite steep but everything else was fine.
A well presented & spacious house, good parking spot, in a very quiet neighborhood. Shops & town centre very close.
Yes - we enjoyed our stay
On a cold February weekend, this was a nice warm solidly built semi-detached house. 5 minutes walk from the High Street with a wide variety of eating places and nice shops, not to mention the Saturday Market with all the interesting stalls, it could not be better placed. The furnishings were very comfortable, and the lighting was excellent. Definitely a place I would return to.
Fern cottage is a lovely property. Even though it is in a residential area it’s very close to the town so easy to walk to all of the facilities of Lymington. The wider area is great for anyone who loves the outdoors as well as having lots of pretty towns and villages plus various attractions to visit.
very enjoyable stay, nice cottage very conveniently located
A well appointed property in a good location near the town centre.
Excellent location. Cottage was very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay with two young children and would go back again if we were to go to New Forest.
We are regular visitors to The New Forest and always use New Forest Cottages. For the last few years we have stayed at Fern Cottage and love it. We were so lucky with the weather for this visit and enjoyed some fantastic walks in beautiful October sunshine. We are studying the calendar to chose our dates to visit The New Forest and Fern Cottage in 2018.
Lovely, well equipped property, home from home, good base for exploring a beautiful part of the country.
Fern Cottage is perfectly situated for exploring the New Forest and surrounding areas. The cottage is beautifully laid out and is our favourite New Forest cottage. Back again next year.
A lovely cottage, ideally situated and well equipped
A very nice, clean and comfortable place from which to explore the New Forest
