The owners provide a generous welcome pack including bread, eggs, yoghurts, a fruit bowl and a homemade cake.
As well as a sandy beach and seafront promenade, Lyme Regis boasts a wide selection of restaurants, cafes, pubs and tearooms. There are also many independent shops and galleries, along with an award winning museum, a small theatre and a cinema. For the more adventurous the South West Coast Path heads west through the amazing Undercliff between Lyme Regis and Axmouth, or east towards Charmouth and the magnificent National Trust land at Golden Cap. For those planning a holiday without a car, the mainline railway station in nearby Axminster is served by a regular bus service (or taxis), to and from the town.

Cloverdale was an excellent property. It was in a very good place to walk into town but there was a large hill to come up which we didn't find a problem but more senior people may. The flat had everything you needed and more. I would certainly recommend this property and Toad Hall Cottages. Tony and Reni were very welcoming and the cake plus other things that were there to greet us, as a welcome was wonderful.
