New for the 2018 Season.  A beautifully presented apartment.

This superb property has been equipped to a high standard with a lovely feel to its design.  Conveniently placed, so that you can walk to the shops, restaurants and pubs but ideally positioned to visit the Jurassic Coast, just minutes away by car.  This excellent apartment is on the second floor of a historic building which dates back to the industrial Ropemaking days in the region.  The famed market town of Bridport with its harbour at West Bay, famous as the setting for the television series Broadchurch, is the perfect base from which to explore Dorset's coast and countryside.  The nearby fishing port with its beach and harbour can be reached easily via a footpath along the riverbank. The whole of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, including the lovely seaside town of Lyme Regis is a short drive away.

Bridport holds a famous twice weekly street market on Wednesdays and Saturdays with stalls selling curiosities, amazing artisan food and bric-a-brac.  This small town is able to boast independent, award winning butchers, bakers, greengrocers and a brewery.  The Electric Palace Cinema and Bridport Arts Centre are worthy of checking for great entertainment locally.  The 18 mile long Chesil beach, which runs from Portland to West Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is very nearby and offers dramatic scenery.  Unsurpassed walking along the South West Coastal Path is on tap.  The famed village of Abbotsbury with its swannery is a short drive from Bridport and the very popular Hive Beach Café is a must visit.

This property is availble to book Short Breaks - please phone for details.

Entrance door to apartment hallway.  The Lounge diner has two comfortable leather sofas, a Flatscreen TV with freeview, dining table and chairs.  The modern fitted kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave oven, washing machine with dryer, dishwasher and tall fridge/freezer.  Bedroom 1 has a 4ft 6inch double bed and ensuite with shower over bath, WC and wash basin. Bedroom 2 has twin 3ft beds.  There is a separate Shower room with large shower, W.C. and wash basin.

October 2018

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

August 2018

Yes, everything was very good. We hope to come back...

July 2018

Yes, a very pleasant stay. A shame about the seagulls waking us at 3.30 every morning , but I appreciate you can't do much about that!

June 2018

An excellent flat in a central location

May 2018

We had a very enjoyable stay and have already recommended the area and the property to friends and family as an ideal base for exploring West Dorset.

May 2018

We did enjoy our stay as the flat was very comfortable in every respect. Could do with a coat hook in the hall .

May 2018

The flat was lovely and the improvement suggestions above do not, in any way, mean that we did not enjoy our stay. The location is great for exploring Bridport itself but also for venturing further afield.

April 2018

This is a lovely property. Very nice furnishings and ample kitchen equipment. Clean and very nicely decorated rooms and bathrooms. Great location on the main street in Bridport, near shops and pubs. A 2 mile walk to the beach. Great location to discover Dorset. Bonus to have an allocated car park space. Pleasant surprise of a bottle of Prosecco on our arrival. Would stay again.

March 2018

A beautifully presented apartment, very high quality of fixtures & fittings. Very spacious & quiet. A spare set of keys would be useful.
