Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the sought-after village of Brockenhurst. Glenleigh provides comfortable, versatile accommodation for up to 10 guests. Ideal for family groups. The house has recently been refurbished and painted throughout with Farrow and Ball low VOC paint. The owners have added a beautiful extension to the kitchen creating a lovely light and airy dining area, perfect for entertaining. Two further living rooms provide plenty of space to spread out during your stay. The five bedrooms are light and spacious.
Glenleigh is in a great location. A few minute’s easy walk and you are at Brockenhurst railway station - a 90-minute journey to London Waterloo, 25 minutes to Southampton International Airport or a 10-minute ride to the seaside town of Lymington. Walk 10 minutes into the village centre, meeting ponies and donkeys along the way, there is an array of interesting shops and cafes. Brockenhurst is very fortunate to have some wonderful eateries including The Huntsman, Britannia Thai, Albero a lovely Italian restaurant and the award-winning The Pig on the outskirts of the village.
The village is surrounded by forest land meaning that walkers and cyclists will find Brockenhurst the ideal base from which to explore. Just a short drive away is Rhinefield Ornamental Drive which is a must see with some beautiful Canadian Redwoods and ancient oaks to see along the way. Finishing in Bolderwood is the deer sanctuary where deer are often seen and fed once a day during the summer months.
Just a 15-minute drive to the coastal Georgian town of Lymington where there are further shops, pubs and restaurants for your entertainment as well the Town Quay and marinas. It is possible to catch a ferry from Lymington to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight for another excellent day out.

Ground floor Bedroom 5 includes a day bed which can be made up as a comfortable double bed. Alternatively, this room may be used as a Study using the desk.

The rear enclosed garden is west facing with a sunny patio and garden furniture. A few steps down lead to a small lawn with a charcoal barbeque and trampoline. Children must be supervised at all times when using the trampoline.
There is parking for one car on the driveway. There is further parking for one additional car in the lane. Please note the roads surrounding this street do have parking restrictions.

Other than the cooker being extremely difficult to work and the kettle needing rescaling we have no complaints at all. We had a fabulous stay and are already planning to book again next year.
Lot of good points. The dining area extension to the kitchen is super. Convenient location. Although very close to station, trains are quiet and not a problem.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the welcome pack was very good. Good family accommodation and location in the New Forest. Laundry facilities very good too.
We really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 children, with space to find a quiet corner when needed!
Glenleigh was an amazing house - beautifully decorated, really clean, and so convenient for the station and town. We had such a wonderful time and I didn't want to leave! The quality and standard of the house and the way it had been prepared for us was outstanding.
