Heatherdale, a large and spacious detached house at the top of the Salcombe, is perfectly located to make the most of the popular and vibrant waterside town. The property has great far reaching sea views from most rooms and the garden and is situated within a mile of the two popular beaches, North Sands and South Sands. Large entertaining areas, good outside space, ample bathrooms and private parking ensure this property has all the attributes for a great family or group holiday.

Entrance to hall leading to open plan kitchen dining room with electric cooker, gas hob, large fridge freezer, microwave, dining table to seat 8/10, access to patio. Utility room off kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, built in eye level cooker, fridge, freezer. Bedroom 3 with double bed. Bedroom 5 with single bed (plus truckle bed to make twin room). Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Snug with sofa, TV and feature fireplace (not in use). First floor: Lounge with two sofas, two armchairs, TV (with SKY), DVD player, card table and games. Bedroom 2 with king bed. Jack and Jill bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Bedroom 4 with twin beds and en suite shower room with shower, basin and WC. Second floor: Master bedroom with super king size bed and balcony. Adjoining bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC.

Patio area at the front with table and chairs, barbecue and stunning sea views. Steps down to lawn (with steep slope at bottom).

Private parking for 2 cars.

  • Local facilities: Spar shop 600 yards. North Sands beach less than 1 mile. Pubs, restaurants and other shops 15 minutes’ walk down the hill into Salcombe centre (longer coming back). Kingsbridge with all facilities including supermarkets 6 miles.

We as 4 families ranging from 2 years to 75 years enjoyed our stay immensely. Weather was kind to us which helped. All loved Salcombe.

We loved Heather dale and would definitely book again we had 2 babies under one in our party and a four year old and it was well equipped for their needs a real home from home and the attic room was wonderful. Lovely comfortable beds with quality bed linen and towels you won’t be disappointed it’s exactly as it was advertised if not better.

The Packham family enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay again. However we would be disappointed if the above maintenance issues highlighted above had still not been resolved.

We did enjoy our stay, other than above little things house good, bedrooms and bathrooms good. Sky TV excellent, everything else in house excellent. Also when we reported problem with toilet seat and cistern this was fixed immediately. Outside patio BBQ etc very good.
