Description

High Hopes Cottage, a detached house with large garden and parking, is situated just 150 yards from the popular sandy beach in Inner Hope Cove and the South West Coast Path. There can be few properties in Hope Cove to enjoy such great outside space and parking whilst still being so close to the beach.

Entrance to hall leading to lounge with two sofas, fireplace, Smart TV and DVD player. Bedroom 3 accessed through lounge with 5ft king bed. Dining room with table to seat 6 and feature Lidstone range (not is use). Kitchen with electric cooker and hob, dishwasher and microwave. Family bathroom with bath with shower overhead, basin and WC. Utility room with large fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and space for coats and boots. First floor: Bedroom 1 with 5ft king bed. Bedroom 2 with 3ft twin beds and 3ft bunk beds.

Large garden surrounding the house with table and chairs. A small shallow stream runs down one side of the garden. 

Parking for 2 cars on private driveway.

Included: Bed linen and towels, electricity and electric heating.  Travel cot, high chair and stair gate.

Telephone: Telephone at property (landline use only). Mobile reception variable. Wi-Fi.

Pets: One dog allowed. (Pet charge £25.00 per week. £30.00 from January 2019).

Local facilities: Sandy beach 150 yards. Pub, shop, Post office all in Hope Cove. Salcombe 4 miles. Kingsbridge with all facilities 5 miles.


September 2018

High Hopes was well sited for the beach and secluded. And an easy walk to the village centre- mainly when the tide was out! It was spacious, bright, comfortable, and clean. Made little or no use of the kitchen /Utility room equipment, but obviously there has been much investment in HH. Thank you owners and THC.


August 2018

House is very practical and easy to keep clean. The washer, dryer, washing line, pegs , iron, ironing board were all new and worked very well. As the main ‘doer’ of all things domestic I found this very useful. The garden was enclosed, had good outdoor furniture and a lovely play area that my 3 year old granddaughter really enjoyed. The beach is 2 minutes walk away and once the tide had gone out it was great. The shop, bars and cafe were always busy but we ate in the whole holiday.


June 2018

Watching the sun set whilst sitting on the beach was lovely. We had a great week and had everything we needed. The garden was a bonus and we even watched some blue tits fledge.
