The Annex at Hingston Farm offers a taste of country living, stylishly presented, well equipped and enjoying views across the Avon valley. Part of an immaculately kept working beef and arable farm, with horses and chickens nearby, the Annex at Hingston Farm is a self contained wing of the principal farmhouse, with all-year round wood-fuel central heating and is incredibly comfortable and cosy, contemporary in style with a feeling of luxury, the perfect destination for a couple any time of year.  Surrounded by plenty of space for guests to really enjoy their surroundings and only a minute’s walk from the renowned Oyster Shack and the popular Avon estuary – fabulous for bird watching and wildlife. The beaches of Bantham and Bigbury are within short driving distance and so this property offers a perfect base from which to enjoy and explore the South Hams.

To the front of the property is a seating area exclusively for use of Annex guests.There are farm chickens nearby providing fresh eggs for guests and a separate fenced field opposite which guests of Hingston Farm are welcome to use for exercising dogs and playing, with fabulous far reaching views across the estuary. Acres of walks from the doorstep.

Ample parking for cars, boat and trailer adjacent to property on driveway and in covered car port.

The cottage served us well as we were visiting family in the village so only used the property as a base to sleep and have breakfast. The owners made us really welcome and provided eggs during the week. The cottage was lovely and warm too. The bedroom and bathroom were furnished to a good standard and the kitchen was well equipped. However, cooking would be limited as there was only a 2 ring hob and a microwave, no oven. Also, the sofa could do with replacing. We would return because of the ideal location.

Very enjoyable stay,well appointed and comfortable Cottage. Susie and John are very welcoming owners also with very friendly dogs, Blue and Meg(puppy) and Horses,fresh eggs every day from the resident chickens. 5 star accommodation will be back.
