This spacious and comfortable apartment is part of the prestigious main house at the Holne Chase Country Estate, Located in the right-hand wing, the apartment enjoys its own private drive, parking area and entrance. The outside area complete with garden table, chairs and parasol is perfect for alfresco dining and enjoying the views over the beautiful estate. Inside, the accommodation is all on one level and boasts a generous sitting room, well equipped kitchen, dining area and a bedroom complete with 6ft super king bed (this can be made up as a twin on request - please advise at the time of booking) and an ensuite bathroom.
Guests very welcome to explore the estate including the beautiful woods and the private stretch of the River Dart which passes through the grounds. A particular bonus for guests is that fly fishing for salmon and sea trout can be arranged through the owners.
Dartmoor National Park covers almost 370 square miles of open grassland, granite tors and wooded valleys. With activities such as walking, horse-riding, caving, cycling, climbing and abseiling on offer there are plenty of outdoor pursuits to sample. For those not feeling quite so energetic Dartmoor is still a fantastic place to simply get some fresh air, dip your toes in a stream or sit back and enjoy a Devon cream tea.
Please note: This property can be booked together with the two other cottages located on the Holne Chase Estate - Grooms Cottage and/or The Carriage House (potentially providing accommodation for groups of up to 15 guests).

Kitchen area with electric hob, build in electric oven, microwave, integrated washer/dryer, freestanding fridge-freezer and undercounter integrated fridge with ice box. Dining area with table and seating for 4 and window which enjoys views over the estate. Inner hall leading to the bedroom with 6 ft super-king zip-link bed (please note – this can be made up as a twin upon request – please advise at the time of booking). Ensuite bathroom with WC, sink, electric towel rail and bath with shower over.
To the side of the apartment is a gravelled seating area with garden table and chairs, perfectly situated for taking in the glorious views across the lawn and estate.
Game fishing available (fly only) by prior arrangement with the owners, £25 per rod / day – please enquire for further details.
