Welcome pack was exceptional
Perfect location, and made to feel welcome because the owner had left us milk , eggs and homemade Victoria sponge cake , and some roses in the rooms ( it’s those little things that make the difference).
We had a wonderful week in this surprisingly spacious chalet. A excellent, generous ‘welcome’ was provided by the owner with a lovely homemade cake, eggs, milk, homemade honey, jam and marmalade. With such a generous ‘welcome’ I think It would be worth letting visitors know in advance that this is provided.
This is a lovely place to stay and the owners have thought of everything, plus some additional unexpected treats! The location is so unique, with your own access to the beach, and an ideal village with both a traditional pub type restaurant and a more upmarket one within a short walk. Can't recommend highly enough.
Thoroughly enjoyed our week. Chalet was warm and cosy and very well equipped with thoughtful extras.
Had a great stay and some very nice welcoming surprises. Beautiful view very clean and would go again
We had a fantastic say at The Little Beach House - it was so comfortable, every detail had been thought of and such a warm welcome (home made cake & jams, eggs, milk, handwritten card) - everything was in good condition and worked well. The location is unbeatable. We would love to stay there again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
We very much enjoyed our stay, it was the little extras that made us feel welcome. The card from Judy together with a gorgeous Victoria sponge, eggs & jams. The location is simply amazing, accommodation cosy/very well equipped. We will be back!
Fabulous place. Lovely quality beds and linen. Nice welcome tray and homemade cake. We can’t recommend this place enough. Couple of minor points, Water tastes revolting. It’s very hard. I’d take bottled water. We had to de scale the kettle, lime scale bits were floating in our drinks. Poor internet connection. ( to be expected there) This cottage is well equipped with everything you need for a fabulous break. Breath taking views, lovely walks and close to major towns for your shopping etc.
We are delighted you had a fabulous time in this amazing location. The owner is very attentive to ideas and suggestions and rest assured she will try to improve the drinking water in some way. We hope you will return again Thank you

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and really appreciated the extras that Judy supplied like the cake, marmalade, honey, eggs etc and leaving knitting for people to do, and fishing equipment. Could not have asked for more. Excellent.
We were made very welcome by extra touches although we did not meet the owner.
We have been here 3 times and have booked again for next year, says it all I think.
Lovely property, in a beautiful location. The many little extras provided by the owner make this a very special place to stay.
The beach hut was perfect. Everything was provided. Never stayed in a self catering place before that had so many "extra's". Even had a gorgeous sponge on arrival, plus a little nest of eggs and honey & jam. Not forgetting the milk in the fridge as well. Wonderful, thoughtful owner. Lovely quiet place on private road practically on the beach. All we saw was rabbits, birds, hikers and fishermen. No noisy people or cars, and the people staying in the huts were very friendly. No street lights, no shop, only 2 restaurants. We only had 3 days of sun, but that didnt matter because it was so peaceful, a real good place to unwind. Only downfall was, the fish were not biting, so we never got our fish suppers, oh well, cant have everything! The owner of this beach hut provided everything that was needed and more. She literally thought of everything, even down to games, books, knitting etc. Amazing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was exceptional. A perfect retreat.
The welcome of cake, milk, homemade honey, jam and marmalade and 2 delicious eggs was a lovely touch.
We love this property. This was our second stay at The Little Beach House, the house itself, the surroundings etc are all excellent. We were hoping to come back again later in the summer but it's all booked up! A sure sign of what a great place this is.
This is a unique little property and a wonderful spot where you can witness the sea in all its moods close up. Judy has a great job in equipping the very neat beach house with absolutely everything you could need. Well worth a visit.
Battery in smoke alarm had been removed, could do with a blind for bathroom window, otherwise very pleasant place to stay.
Thank you very much for your comments, we will get these issues resolved but we are pleased that you had a very pleasant stay.

Second time in this cottage - and hopefully won't be the last. Love it here.
A lovely place, really comfy and we'll appointed. We will certainly return!
Little beach house small but the effort that Has been put into this little place was excellent, from pint milk to eggs, home made cake, jams, fresh flowers. Quality bedding. We have stayed at many cottages but the Owner made you feel so welcome with all the effort she had gone to will certainly return.
The lady who owns the cottage as really lovely touches. She leaves a home made cake and there was a pint of milk in the fridge. Just what you want after a long journey
Little bit of paradise on beautiful Dorset coast
Would definitely use Toad Hall Cottages again and recommend them to others, we had a great holiday in a lovely, well-appointed property.

Fabulous location directly on Chesil Beach.Great outdoor space front and back. Spotlessly clean and cosy, arrived to find fresh milk and a yummy cake waiting for us. Everything you need and more is provided. Fishing rods if you fancy it, knitting (yes balls of wool and needles) Adult colouring (yes book and pencils provided) books and games. For the dog there's a bowl, towels, poo bags and lead!!! Lovely location to explore surrounding area. Will be looking to return next year.
Little Beach House is a real gem of a place to stay - the owner is very clearly people and dog friendly, with all the thoughtful extras from cakes to dog water bowl by the front door. We can't wait to return.
The Little Beach House was everything we wanted for a week away. The little touches by the owner made a good impression.
I had the most glorious week at the Little Beach House. I have just recommended it to a friend. I will definitely be back. It was a fantastic location, had everything that you would need for a relaxing week away and a lovely owner who text to see if I was okay during a storm. I love this place xx
