Holidaying within 75 yards of one of South Hams’ finest beaches and 300 yards from the first tee of Thurlestone Golf Course, combined with fabulous sea views may, you think, be just a dream, but that is what we can offer at Beachside Apartment, which has had rave reviews from previous holiday makers. The house is a large, very individual, detached residence built in the early 1900s, set in sweeping shared grounds of approximately two acres and is divided to form three homes. This light and airy apartment occupies the ground floor of the property. Spacious and comfortably furnished, the majority of the rooms have outstanding views across the lawns to the sea, Leasfoot Beach and the golf course. So whether you are a golfing enthusiast, want to indulge the family with a fantastic beach holiday, or enjoy walking the fabulous Coastal Path that passes the door, this is the place for you!
Private door to entrance porch at the rear of the property with tumble dryer and garden furniture, tiled floor, a good storage area for wet suits, wellies etc. Entrance hall with cloaks cupboard. Spacious open plan living room with double aspect windows and gorgeous views. This lovely room with an oak floor includes a sitting area comfortably furnished with 2 sofas, chairs, a selection of board games, books, videos, DVDs, CD player, iPod dock, wall mounted flat screen TV/DVD/VCR Home Cinema, surround sound and dining table to seat 8. A feature of the room is the central wood burning stove, beyond which is the well equipped and fitted kitchen area with more lovely views, built-in electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, good extras such as a liquidiser and juicer. Off the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine, freezer, larder shelf cupboard and sink. Bedroom 1, a large room with superb views, has a 6ft x 6ft 6in bed, portable TV, and an en-suite shower room with shower, basin and WC. Bedroom 2 has twin 3ft beds with a further full size pull-out beneath one bed and a vanitory basin. Bedroom3 has lovely views over the front and has a 4ft 6in double bed, and a single 3ft bed, with further pull out single bed beneath it. Bathroom with bath, shower over, separate corner shower cubicle, basin and WC.
The house is approached by its own shared driveway and overlooks the lovely two acre grounds that are mainly lawns with some shrubs and flowers, and extend on down to include part of Leasfoot beach foreshore. All the grounds, the verandah and bin store are for communal use.

We found the property very comfortable and warm and situated in an ideal position. There was an issue with some table and bedroom lamps not working so we left a note for the cleaner which should rectify the problem. As stated above, the only issue was the blocking of what is a lovely view from our windows. I
All information needed starting from booking to finding the house was complete and clear. For us coming from Germany to visit England this was very helpful - we always felt save, that everything will be well. Many thanks for your good job!
This year we had problems with the Wi Fi and telephone due to a BT malfunction. The caretaker and the owner of the property did all they could to help sort out the matter for which we were most grateful.
cleaner on arrival than 2012 love the place and the views
