February 2019

Lovely stay. Front of property window rotting and needed re painting. Cobwebs on low ceilings (easily reachable). Everything in kitchen was fine!

February 2019

We had a lovely stay. The sofas are in need of replacing- very uncomfortable!

November 2018

Yes we did. Thank you.

October 2018

Very nice cottage (cosy) will return, only negative - had a damp dog smell when we arrived, but once we had the log burner going smell went.

July 2018

We had a lovely stay and would definitely return!

July 2018

We really enjoyed our stay at Maple Cottage. Great location in the village.

May 2018

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay ; we walked miles along the coastal path and enjoyed a strenuous walk up the valley from Dartmouth to Dittisham. The Tower Inn in Slapton was superb and the Boullaibaise was one of the best I've ever eaten (even in France.) The Britannia at Beesands was also extremely good with excellent service. It may be worth mentioning to future guests that at the moment the road from Torcross to Strete is currently out of action and there is definitely no short cut.

May 2018

The cottage was ideal, in terms of facilities and location - only regret being that we were there just for the long weekend! It is beautifully furnished, sympathetic to the age of the building, and felt very homely and comfortable - plenty of books, games and DVDs available too, had the weather not been so favourable. The booking process, information and guidance provided by Toad Hall was very straightforward, uncomplicated and friendly. I will certainly come to you again next time. Thank you.

February 2016

We had a lovely stay and were very impressed by the property and location. We were also grateful that the owner text to inform us of a local road closure the evening of our arrival. One small thing- the door was hard to open from the inside. My husband could do it but I really struggled, perhaps a handle could be fitted to the inside? Overall a great stay, thank you very much.
