The unspoilt 3 mile stretch of sandy beach and dramatic scenery at Whitsand Bay is reachable by 5 minute car journey, as are the twin sea side villages of Kingsand and Cawsand. Also nearby are the stately homes of Antony House and Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, where you can enjoy walks through manicured gardens, book a Segway tour, or catch the passenger ferry across to Plymouth’s Royal William Yard, where many places to eat in an elegant setting await.

Set in almost one acre of beautiful, well-kept gardens, the house and grounds are surrounded by countryside (you’ll often find animals in the field adjacent!) and the property enjoys fantastic views across the River Tamar and beyond. Large patio with garden furniture and a barbecue. *Please note there is a pond, so young children will need supervision.*
