This house is ideal for those who wish to be within easy reach of the beach and to be in the hub of the village, yet enjoy the quiet and privacy of this appealing property with its attractive comfortable rooms often awash with sunlight. The first floor balcony commands views of Thurlestone Bay and provides a special spot for al-fresco breakfasts or evening sundowners.

Hallway leads into bright, spacious open plan sitting/dining room with wood burner, comfortable sofas and chairs,  TV with Full Sky Package with movies and sports channels and DVD player. Alcoves stocked with books flank an attractive log burner with pine surround, and a generous window seat looks across the gardens. In the dining area a large oval table seats up to 10 and double doors open on to the verandah. The kitchen has an excellent range of  fitted units with electric hob, built-in double oven and microwave, large fridge, freezer and dishwasher and extends into a breakfast area with table, chairs and bench. Downstairs cloakroom with WC and basin. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and additional fridge. Access to garden.  Stairs lead from dining area to landing. December 2017

A lovely stay with very good facilities and equipment provided in the kitchen. A nice central location in the village.

October 2017

We had a fabulous stay. We had everything we needed to make the holiday brilliant.....local bar and restaurant that were both fantastic, near to a range of other places to visit. The dog was in seventh heaven walking to the beach and having a swim. We have already booked for a week next October - we can't wait to return.

Very nice property well equipped good kitchen lovely views great to have a garage as parking isn't good in the village Could just do with new more comfortable seating in sitting room and single beds

June 2017

This was our fifth stay with one more booked in September. It feels so welcoming when we arrive and we instantly feel on holiday. Mount Stone is idyllic and it is with sad hearts that we are choosing to go elsewhere next year as we just can't face the climb up to it but we leave with wonderful memories.

May 2017

This is the second time we have stayed at this property, and although improvements could be made, we would stay at Mt Stone again. The garden is secure for our dog which is greatly appreciated.

We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your comments which we have passed to the owner.

April 2017

Another great week spent in Thurlestone. Good accommodation very well equipped. Always good customer service from Toad Hall. Third time of using, and will be going to another property in Thurlestone in October.

October 2016

Mounts Stone is a true home from home and our #1 choice when choosing a West Country holiday destination.

January 2015

The short walk to the pub was ideal for the new year celebrations - good beer and a great live band.

September 2014

We loved Mount Stone on our first visit and following the recent impovements it is even more delightful.
