A comfortable and well furnished cottage in the heart of this charming seaside village, creating a pleasurable holiday home and only ten minutes level walk from the famous fossil beach in Charmouth. A great base to enjoy this beautiful part of Dorset any time of the year. With the World Jurassic Coastline just a five to seven minute walk away, the cottage is ideal for families looking to enjoy a seaside holiday. The village has a small selection of shops and a post office as well as pubs, cafes and restaurants. The Heritage Coast Centre on the seafront provides a wealth of information about local geology and fossil collecting and the village is a great location for walkers with the South West Coast footpath passing very nearby.
Neighbridge cottage is adjacent to the site of the large and popular outdoor Charmouth Market (Whitsun Monday until end of September) and also the site of the local traveling fairground, resident from mid July to mid August. The fairground operates daily from 7pm until 10pm for the first five weeks of the main school summer holidays only. Please Note: If you have received the benefit of the reduced occupancy discount only 2 bedrooms will be made up (these will be the master bedroom and the twin bedroom unless specified otherwise at the time of booking). The property has a quirky layout with rooms on different levels and internal steps. Access statement available on request.

Conservatory room with 2 seater sofa, dining table with 6 chairs and linked to the kitchen. Steps from hallway lead up to Lounge with 2 seater and 3 seater sofas, 3 armchairs, 42inch Smart TV with Freeview and Netflix. There is an additional Dining room to seat 8 guests along with a wall mounted 40inch TV, 3 seater sofa and compendium of games. From the hallway, Stairs lead to Family bathroom with shower and separate bath. Bedroom 2 with single truckle bed. Split level stairs lead to Bedroom 3 with 4ft 6inch double bed. Bedroom 4 with double 4ft 6inch double bed and single 3ft bed.
Gravel garden area with picnic bench and additional seating. Gas BBQ and Firepit. A waist height wall abuts the River Char which runs alongside the property. Wall mounted airer available.

Very comfortable cottage. Plenty of space for parking. Lots to do in Charmouth and surrounding area. And delicious cake that we enjoyed on our arrival.
