Surrounded by forest land, on the edge of the village of Bransgore, Oakdale is superbly located for a family holiday in the New Forest. The large garden which slopes down towards a large beautifully landscaped pond has an outdoor play frame and hot tub (available from the beginning of April-31st October only). With ponies often found right outside the front gate the property offers an ideal base for guests wishing to explore the New Forest with all the added comforts and luxuries during evenings and rainy days.
The property includes 5 bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor with en suite use of a shower room. There is a small games room on the ground floor for entertainment and a large comfortable lounge with an open fire for cosier evenings.
The beautiful decking surrounds the rear of the property with outdoor seating for enjoying the garden in the summer. There is also an additional patio with a large dining table perfect for al fresco dining.
The property is set in a rural location however the nearest shop is just a 5 minute drive away in the centre of the village of Bransgore. Here you may find two corner shops, two beauty salons, fish and chip shop and local doctors and vets.
You can walk straight from the front door for long walks in the forest leading towards Holmsley and Burley, picking up the old railway track taking you through some beautiful scenic parts of the forest.
Further afield the villages of Burley and Brockenhurst are within a 10-15 minute drive and the larger market towns of Ringwood and Lymington are within a 25 minute drive.
Oakdale is a unique property and we would have no hesitation in recommending it for a family holiday in the New Forest.

The property has direct forest access from the front of the property, you may often see ponies and other livestock frequent the little bit of lawn directly in front of the property.
To the rear of the property is a decked area which surrounds the back of the house. There is a small seating area with rattan furniture plus further dining table and chairs for guests to use. The deck area also includes a hot tub for guests use (available from the beginning of April-31st October only). Please note that no more than 8 guests may use the hot tub at any one time. Please see further instructions in the house notes.
To the side of the property is a newly built patio housing a larger outside dining set for guests to use for alfresco dining. The garden does also includes a small climbing frame and a large pond. The pond is roped off but guests must supervise their children in the garden at all times.
The owners will not be held responsible for damages from lack of supervision of children within the property or its grounds for the duration of your stay, therefore it is imperative that children are supervised at all times.
There is parking for up to 4 cars outside the front of the property. This area is forest land which forest livestock have access to.

Children All ages welcome. Please supervise your children in the garden at all times.
