Overall satisfactory. Location OK with country views but parking is awkward. Bathroom needs some work as described above. The Mussel Inn at Down Thomas is excellent offering great food and service.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect. The directional instructions didn't help us to find the property as the road names were hard to spot whilst driving, maybe using more landmarks (eg pub or hotel or shop names) could help in future.

September 2017

We did enjoy our stay thank you. The view from the cottage is beautiful.

August 2017

We had a lovely stay, I am normally hard to please in the sleeping side of things, I am very happy to say I had a good nights sleep all week which is very rare. We loved the cottage, beautiful view, the facilities were fine but only thing I will say is that they need a new shower screen and you cant wash your hands properly in the downstairs toilet as the taps do not come far over enough into the sink. The only thing I can say about the information regarding the distance to the beach was a bit deceiving it said 0.5 miles so we thought it was a short easy walk which was not the case we had to drive as its very hilly in that area so going would have be ok but coming home would have been hard going as it was all uphill, its about a 40 min walk. The shop and pub was a perfect location and easy to get to. We loved the Odd Wheel Pub they were so friendly and made us so welcome. They even helped us when our car broke down by letting us use there phone because we had poor reception and then drove my husband to meet the rac mechanic. My 14 year old son loved it too as he got to play darts with the locals and the landlady. Definitely stay again in the future.

August 2017

We were staying there to be near our grandchildren so the location was splendid for us. Wembury beach is quite a walk but if you take the car during the school holidays get there early as the car park is popular. Excellent café on the beach. The Marine Center is well worth a visit and there is lots for the children not too far away once the beach palls.

June 2017

Location is great and views from garden fabulous , but think the kitchen could do with a few more utensils and the bathroom needs a good clean. This doesn't detract from the fact we had a good time

April 2017

Very good Wifi (important for the kids and planning trips)
