We had a great week and were more than pleased with our accommodation.
Patrick and Donna were absolutely lovely and the lodge is beautiful, great location and just the kind of relaxing you need. Highly recommend this.
Thank you so much for a lovely stay, the lodge was lovely and comfortable, and the gardens so beautiful. We found everyone to be so Welcoming and friendly, we tend to naturally be private people and felt completely at ease, scoobie the family Lab was a lovely friendly dog, and was very gentle with our playful pug. The local beach - west Milton Sands. 5-10 min drive through a Extremely narrow road was worth the squeeze!! I would say it's the most beautiful beach I have ever been on , even the man that works taking fairs at the car park as lovely, it's worth trying the hut on the beach for something to eat, the food is gorgeous, even if a tad expensive. We took the park and ride to Salcombe , it is worth a visit , stunning little town with some fun quirky shops and cafés!! Thanks Again, will be back in the spring with any luck !! Mr
The lodge is in a wonderful location near the Kingsbridge estuary and we had some smashing weather...it really felt like the French coast! Our hosts were very generous sharing their huge garden with us and our dog, kindly letting us use their sun loungers and barbecue! We also needed serious freezer space and they shared one in the garage with us! The wonderful main loft room has exactly the light as per the pictures! The kitchen and bathroom downstairs are a little tight and the plumbing slow, but that's a common trade off! One of the most comfortable beds from such cottages, but the two sofas could be more comfortable.
Booked for 4 nights for my partners 40th birthday. What a fantastic break we had! Not only did the weather come with us but the accommodation was fantastic. Patrick and Donna were very welcoming and left us to relax and enjoy. Our weimaraner came along and he had run of the garden, which in itself was a good hours fun for him exploring! The lodge is perfectly positioned with acces to kingsbridge and afar and walking distance to the beach. Certainly will be staying there again. Highly recommend this lodge. Many thanks for a brillaint stay!
