We had a thoroughly wonderful holiday here In Pipers Bench. Such a wonderful location. We do feel that your description of the property really did not make the most of the wonderful views looking out to sea and the Avon Estuary, or the immediate and direct access to the ridge pathway which took you directly to Bantham Beach. This really made the holiday for us. Quite superb. (the weather helped a lot too!!!).
we did enjoy our stay location and views excellent
We really enjoyed the holiday, brilliant weather throughout. The views from the property were superb. Really good walks from the garden gate to lovely beaches and countryside. The welcome pack of flowers and the makings of cream teas was an excellent start to the holiday.
Second stay at this property. Ideal location for walks and Bantham beach.
Yes, we did enjoy our stay very much! The position is second to none which is why we decided to come again. We love this village and area, especially being able to access the SW coast path so easily. Hopefully we'll come back again soon.
Loved this beautiful place. We'll be back!
We had an excellent time, lovely comfortable cottage. Watching the sunset from the patio was a bonus.
Beautiful location and stunning views. Nice compact holiday home with all the equipment and furnishings we needed, except the blankets mentioned above. Lovely welcome package of scones, cream and local jam much appreciated! Would love to visit again and will recommend to friends!
Very nice property. Good location. Lovely beaches and local walks. Lovely view across to Burgh Island from the main living area. Would definitely stay again. To help keep the property clean, if the owner was looking to make any changes to the annexe, adding a porch or a different entrance would help as currently the outside door opens directly into the main bedroom.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cream tea and flowers on arrival were much appreciated! Wonderful view from the sitting room, and fantastic walk (albeit muddy through the fields with the cows!) right from the property to the coast. Hope to come again one day.
A bigger telly in the lounge would be a bonus, it's tiny! A fantastic place to stay , would definitely come back
Piper's Bench is in a lovely position with views over Bantham Bay from it's very well appointed living room/kitchen and also it's own little terrace. We had a lovely week there in September enjoying many walks along the SW Coast path which passes very close to the property and made full use of the very well equipped kitchen for most of our meals. It was a real pleasure to sit eating supper and watching the sun set over the bay from the big picture window in the lounge. Altogether a very comfortable place to stay!
Pipers bench is in a fabulous location and well equipped with everything. A little disappointing that the owners didn't come and say hello to us but apart from that we loved it.
