Property Self-contained holiday home.
We had a lovely week in this comfortable and well equipped holiday home, right next to the heath. We appreciated the children's toys and the games for adults and children, as well as the safe garden for fun and games. During our stay we particularly enjoyed visits to the New Forest Wildlife Park, the beach at Boscombe (cliff lift saved my legs a long sloping walk, café at the top, snacks and ice creams by the lifeguard patrolled beach), breakfast at Rosie Lea's near Brockenhurst (a lovely little village), Saturday market in Lymington & the local shops too, and a short but fun tractor ride to feed the deer at the New Forest Deer Ride in Burley (don't miss the fudge shop there!) New Milton beach would have been nice if the wind had dropped! Great little shop in Pilley village - impressed with the egg selection!
A lovely spacious cottage in a gorgeous location but let down by the above, it did not spoil our holiday but thought comments would help owners to make improvements if they wish.
This was a lovely place to stay with everything we would ever need. In fact my father in law is thinking of booking it again with another one of his children and grandchildren
It would benefit from a better kettle. Great heating system from the Hive controls. Lovely location and great scenery but would have preferred to use the cottage’s garage for the car.
Fantastic location. Well equipped. Loved the extras like bird food. Would definitely recommend it.
An really great week - nothing to add all very good
Spacious, comfortable, well equipped and beautifully located. We parked two large cars and the shed easily stored three bikes. The garden was secure for our dog who shamefully barked at the donkeys who regularly walked by the gate. We enjoyed watching the birds on the feeders, peanuts helpfully provided, and on the holly berries. We could walk out of the property onto the open forest and walk safely for miles. We needn't have driven from the property all week but did go to Hengistbury Head. Helpful owner and really nice cleaner who we met after parking nearby to give our dog a last walk. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
as this was not are original choice was a little worried about location but could not have been any better grandchildren loved the fact that just walked out of the gate and within a couple of minutes came across ponies donkeys or cows and they were only with us for the week end. this was a real relaxing break thank you
We have stayed in self catering accommodation with our dogs for many, many years. Now I have two disableds with me, my husband and my sister which is not easy at any time. But I found this cottage and we do not want to go anywhere else for our holidays. It has everything we could wish for, especially for disableds. I loathe to leave because feel so relaxed there. Plenty of room to push the 'wheelies' for husband and sister and plenty of space for me too. The bedroom with the cot is perfect for my husband as he can wash himself in peace in his own room. The bedroom with en suite is perfect for my sister too. By the time I get to bed I could sleep on the paving slabs!!! We hope to visit again if we are all still upright. Thanks again.
We had a superb holiday. A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Perfect for all the family.
