Pol Glen has been completely refurbished and become a superb contempory well apointed town house, situated in an elevated position, conveniently close to the town car parking area, yet only a short stroll away from the centre of the vibrant village and bustling harbour. Its sunny front terrace is a good place to relax and look across the front garden watching the world go by. Polperro itself has a plethora of atmosphere in abundance and the property provides an ideal base from which to explore Cornwall, with its rugged coastline, secret coves and miles of cliff top walks. The village has numerous inns as well as excellent restaurants and interesting shops, it is very easy to spend many pleasant hours at the quayside or the nearby beach watching the comings and goings of this traditional fishing port. Pol Glen is an ideal family holiday home where, you will want to return again and again.

Living room: tripple aspect, plenty of seating, open fire, three sofas, BT Freeview TV with BT Sport, fast unlimited WiFi, Bluetooth WiFi music, docking station with wireless speakers. Kitchen/Dining room: Fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, dining table to seat 6.  Master bedroom: with 4ft 6in double bed, wardrobe and storage. Second Double bedroom with 4ft 6in double bed, wardrobe and storage. Bunk Bed room with 3ft bunks and colourful storage. Newly refurbished modern Bathroom with shower over, wash-hand basin, mirror and WC.  All rooms have efficient electric radiators.

2 from the road then 7 Steps lead up to a gentle slope through the front garden to the front door. The sun terrace runs in front of the house with a teak garden table and chairs. There are two grassed areas to the front of the property one sloped and one flat, either side of the entrance pathway.

Please Note:   The lower front garden has no fencing, so children must be supervised as this is a raised lawned area above the road.

Private Permit for parking in the local car park, 3 minutes away 

  • Included: Bed linen and towels ( but no beach towels), WiFi, electricity and heating, parking.
  • Telephone:  Mobile reception can be poor but Orange and T-Mobile/EE good.
  • Pets: One well behaved dog allowed, (no puppies).  At an additional charge of £25.00 per pet, per week.
  • Local Facilities: Polperro beach 8 minutes walk. Talland beach 1 mile. Other south coast beaches are easily accessible by car. Shops, pubs and restaurants all in Polperro. Looe with more facilities and beach, 4 miles. Plymouth 25 miles. Truro 29 miles.

Stayed in Polperro many times, love it there & enjoyed staying in Pol Glen this time. House is furnished & decorated to a high standard & contemporary style appreciated.

We had a wonderful stay, the cottage was lovely we loved Polperro

This is a lovely cottage, bags of room and all mod cons (we're not used to dishwashers!). We love Polperro and have stayed before in the harbour area but this cottage has fantastic access (we were able to unload outside) and it's only a tiny walk to the bus, sea and of course the Crumplehorn! The seating area outside is a lovely addition and got plenty of sun. We are so thankful to be able to stay Monday to Monday to take in the Looe festival in it's entirety. There were a couple of bits that we thought could be improved on; the bathroom door doesn't shut/lock (good job we were all good friends!), a couple of the kitchen chairs don't seem all that robust too and we put them to the side not to use, I would hate to one giving out on someone.

<p>The bathroom door lock has now been corrected, also the chairs have been checked and are now in good order.</p>
