This historic town of Christchurch is a wonderful destination for a holiday in the eastern side of Dorset. Quay Corner is located centrally in the heart of the coastal town of Christchurch is an excellent property, decorated and furnished to a high standard throughout, perfect for a family get together.
Formerly the vicarage for the Christchurch Priory, the owners have carefully restored the property creating and reviving all its natural aspects to create a beautifully finished house for holiday letting. Full of character, the property comprises a large grand entrance hall with restored original flooring, leading through to a beautifully light and airy dining area and lounge. The kitchen has all brand new fixtures and fittings with all the equipment you would need for a week’s holiday.
Stylishly appointed, both the first and second floor includes gorgeously refurbished bedrooms and bathrooms, sleeping a grand total of 10 guests.
The property is conveniently located to take full advantage of what the town has to offer, including the thriving high street, filled with a variety of shops, boutiques and eateries and the pretty riverside just a 5 minute walk away with views across to Wick. The High Street and Quayside play host to a variety of events including the annual Food Festival, Classic Car Show and excellent weekly market, which takes place on a Monday, taking over the length of the high street.
Enjoy the likes of the Captains Club Restaurant, The Boathouse and Soho, all just a short walk away, offering a variety of excellent menus. The vibrant quayside is an excellent location for a stroll along the river. The park is a wonderful outdoor space for children to let off steam and with a brilliant play area and splash park for small children; you can keep them entertained for hours.
Find yourself within close proximity to some of the best coarse and coastal fishing in Europe as well as being conveniently located for access to a local cinema/theatre, crazy golf and boat hire on the quay.
The New Forest National Park, coastal town of Lymington and Bournemouth are just a short drive away, as well as many visitor attractions across the New Forest and Dorset.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house rule of 'no football in garden' is a little draconian when letting out a family property. Guide as to which days recycling/rubbish is collected would be useful, rather than 'every other wednesday'! All in all, very good.
