This sunny, spacious, ground floor garden apartment is just three minutes walk to the sandy beaches of Hope Cove, a charming fishing village with village store, cafe and pub and various eateries. The apartment looks over a peaceful country valley with sea views from the garden. The 40ft exclusive sun terrace is well equipped with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Superbly located for family beachside holidays or as a base from which to explore the surrounding area. 

Light and airy open plan living area with wood floor throughout. The sitting area, divided off from the kitchen, has large patio doors that open to the terrace and is most comfortably furnished with a leather sofa and lounging chairs,  flat screen TV/DVD, separate stereo cassette/CD player, flame effect electric fire. The neat, well- equipped kitchen has an electric cooker with ceramic hob and double oven, microwave, family size integral fridge and freezer, dishwasher and dining table to seat 6. Lobby with washing machine, ironing facilities and storage area. Bedroom 1 : Double bedroom with 5ft King size wrought iron bedstead, french doors to the patio, drawers and hanging area with adjacent wardrobe. The adjacent Family bathroom has a bath, glass wash hand basin and WC. Bedroom 2: Twin bedroom with 3ft single beds. wardrobe and drawers. To the rear of the apartment, the Snug with sofa bed, TV screen for playing DVD's. Wet room with shower, basin and WC. 

Several steps with handrail lead from the tarmaced car park via a shared pathway with a continual gradient to the property. A broad, paved, terrace and gardens exclusive to Quay Sands surround the apartment, ideal for outside living in the summer and equipped with table, chairs, and a coal barbecue. An area of lawn extends beyond the terrace that overlooks the valley with views of the coast. This property is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Overall we enjoyed our holiday. The location was great, beds comfortable and the views from the patio were fantastic, making outside dining a real pleasure. Local facilities good, with excellent food and drink at the Hope and Anchor. The local shop was also a godsend for everything we’d forgotten. Coastal walk to South Milton sands was easy and very beautiful, with the beach great for our friend’s dog who loved swimming.

We had fabulous weather and the location was so convenient only 3 minutes to the Cove and the local pub and Cove bar which served amazing food. Last minute decision and it couldn't have been better . We have already reccomded Toad hall to our friends and family .

We had a very enjoyable stay in Quay Sands, which has an excellent position in Hope Cove and is also very to the coastal footpath. The apartment was comfortable and warm, just what was needed after a days walking!

We had a very nice relaxing holiday, weather was wonderful. The cottage was in a good position, we didn't need the car and it was nice to return to after exploring the coast. Good fish and chips from the hotel next door. Very good dog walks with coastal path close by leading to Thurlestone dog friendly beaches, certainly returned home fitter than when we arrived.

We had a wonderful stay. The property exceeded our expectations and the location was perfect. We were very fortunate with the weather (unlike most of the rest of the country) and enjoyed walks in the surrounding area. If we decide to have a holiday in the UK any time in the future this will certainly be a strong contender.

We had a wonderful week, the property is in a great location and the south facing garden a real asset. We also appreciated the wine, sweets and biscuit for the dog, a lovely touch. We particularly liked the master bedroom with the patio doors. Considering how warm the week was the property didn't get too hot which was a bonus.

Arrived to tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and a bottle of wine!! What a lovely welcome after 6 hour drive. The only thing I would suggest is at least 1 bigger pan, but that's all I could suggest as everything else was amazing, comfortable beds, clean throughout and we even had a week of sunshine too!! Beautiful views, just wish we weren't so far away as deffo would be back. Thanks for a lovely week!! Lynn, Eric, Audrey and Ken x

This accommodation is ideal for walkers as it is so close to the coastal path. The accommodation is very well equipped and spacious. It is a good idea to take as many heavy items i.e. drinks and food with you as choice is limited in Hope Cove. This is an ideal spot for a quiet and peaceful holiday, a beautiful location, you need to be fairly fit to manage the hills.

Quay sands is a lovely apartment. From the moment you arrive you feel totally relaxed! Our children are all grown up now, but as soon as they know we have booked our annual stay at quay sands they always manage to get the time off and insist on coming along. Sitting on the patio whilst eating breakfast overlooking the bay is all you need. Never like leaving ............ Always happy and excited to return to such a welcoming comfortable holiday home

Hard to fault this immaculate and sunny appartment (feels more like your own bungalow than a rented apartment) Ideal for our young family as the beach has lots of rock pools and we could enjoy a real old bucket and spade holiday. suited us as we could sit outside and enjoy the view in the evening when the children were in bed. Very well equipped, easy access to beach and nice to be able to take the dog

Local amenities and close proximity to Salcombe and Kingsbridge provide activities for all ages if you are looking for a fun packed family holiday. Equally; if you want a quiet relaxing break, the short walk to the local pub/restaurant, local shop and beaches combined with the quiet village setting and stunning scenery is ideal. Quay Sands was immaculately presented and the patio was perfect for enjoying warm summer evenings overlooking the sea and countryside.

We had a lovely stay at the Quay Sands the apartment was a lovely size, very light with a nice view down to the sea. The patio was full of sun all day so we could relax on the patio with a glass of wine. A short stoll from the sea front and a lovely country pub provides a relaxing evening meal. Quay Sands offered us everything we needed and more it was a truly enjoyable stay i would definitely suggest you share the experience.
