Rose Cottage is one of four holiday cottages set in several acres of grounds alongside the main A35 coast road, a couple of miles east of the vibrant West Dorset market town of Bridport, the harbour at West Bay and near to the lovely seaside village of Burton Bradstock. This former hay barn has been converted to provide quality accommodation for couples and families seeking a base from which to explore this wonderful part of the English countryside and coast. The two storey cottage offers a cosy open-plan living area and a downstairs shower room with two double bedrooms on the first floor. Rose Cottage has been thoughtfully equipped to provide everything required for a really comfortable self-catering holiday and includes a private patio with picnic bench seating situated at the front to take advantage of the wonderful open country views.
The site also includes hook-ups for a small number of touring caravans and the welcoming owners can provide a wealth of information about local walking, fishing and a host of other activities. A public footpath runs through the site giving direct access to the surrounding network of countryside footpaths, making this an ideal choice for walkers. It's only 3 miles from the sea and the stunning South West Coast Path. For those wishing to tour the area there are a great many wonderful days out inside an hour's drive including Lulworth Cove, Weymouth and Dorchester to the east, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and Exeter to the west and Yeovil, Taunton and Sherborne to the north.

Very close to main road - A35. Traffic noise could be heard during night. This did not spoil our enjoyment of our stay.
