Salcombe View is a recently refurbished linked bungalow in a quiet residential part of Malborough just 2 miles from the popular seaside town of Salcombe. Spread across one level this spacious and contemporary property is perfectly positioned for couples to utilise all this beautiful part of the country has to offer. A host of South West Coast Path walks and the sandy beaches at Hope Cove and Thurlestone are located within a short drive. In short walking distance within Malborough there are two village pubs and a well-stocked Co-Op shop as well as access to a cycle path that runs the whole way down to Salcombe.

Please note this property is only suitable for up to two adults (no children).

Porch into open plan living area. Seating area with two sofas (one is sofa bed), TV and DVD, dining area to seat 4. Kitchen area with electric cooker and hobs, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge with ice box and breakfast bar. Double bedroom with king size bed, wardrobe, country views and access to rear outdoor area. Bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC.

To the rear of the property there is a small enclosed outdoor area with garden table and chairs and stunning country views towards nearby Salcombe.

Ample on street parking available nearby (no restrictions) within walking distance to the property. Further parking available in the village car park 5 minutes walk away.

  • Local Facilities: North Sands and South Sands beach 1.5 miles. Hope Cove beaches 3 miles. Co-op shop, Post Office, pubs and restaurant all in Malborough. Salcombe 2 miles. Kingsbridge with all facilities 4 miles.

We had a lovely week here. Great location for beaches, walks and getting into Salcombe for seaside charm and Kingsbridge. Bungalow very clean and welcoming, good updated decor and furnishings, modern kitchen etc, amazing view from the little patio over the hills to Salcombe and a glimpse of the sea! would highly recommend. Only downside was no wifi and mobile signal not good enough even for 3G but got used to that after a day or two. Excellent holiday overall

The property was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was small but fine for two - good washing machine, dishwasher and fridge. The area is beautiful with lovely walks to both Salcombe and Hope Cove. Shame one of the village pubs was shut. On the whole, a lovely stay.

We are delighted to see you had such a lovely stay in Malborough. One of the two village pubs has been closed for refurbishment but should be opening again very soon.

Location - excellent view out of back but the area of village not so good. We had a great time. We were there 50 years ago and not disappointed at all. Wonderful coastal walk. Loved Kingsbridge, Dartmouth, Totnes and Salcombe. We thought the cottage was excellent value. Good walks from the cottage as well. Excellent food in Kingsbridge.
