This very popular property is one of only 11 with a 5 star rating in our portfolio and consistently receives top reviews. It is appointed with a nautical theme and its effortless style, location and charm have made it a firm favourite with many visitors returning. At the heart of the cottage is an open plan room with a white wooden floor and a central rotating Scandinavian glass log burner, turning 360 degrees to face the sitting or dining area to suit, making this an ideal property to stay all year round. The kitchen is well equipped and modern, looking out to a very pretty, private and mature enclosed courtyard garden, ideal for enjoyment in the summer with outside dining area and bbq. The owners take great care to ensure your stay is as comfortable and memorable as possible, from the white egyptian bed linen to flowers, wine and local jam greeting you on your arrival. Seagull Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the New Forest, coastline or the Isle of Wight and is the perfect choice for up to two couples or a family demanding the most exacting standards.

My 3rd time so it must be good. However next time I might try to find a Cottage with a private parking space as Station Road is very busy.

We had a wonderful stay, the cottage felt like home from home. We would definitely recommend to others and will be returning. Lymington was a great base to explore the new forest from. The only downside was a week was not long enough.
We certainly enjoyed our stay because: Lymington is an easy living town for an elderly couple to relax in; your booking, arrival and particularly parking arrangements are easy; and as summarised above Seagull Cottage well met our requirements. The only adverse comments to be made: getting out of the bath/shower is somewhat risky as there is nowhere to grip; and a sour odour in the downstairs cloakroom which persisted the whole week of our stay.
This is the best holiday cottage I have ever stayed in. Quality fixtures and fittings and every kitchen utensil you would ever need.

The location with so many choices of places to eat was great plus the proximity to the railway station meant we didn't need the car to access walks. The weather was fantastic which meant we could have breakfasts outside. Lanes restaurant was particularly good!
