Description

Seahorse Cottage is a fantastic property situated on Fore Street in the very centre of Salcombe. Whether you are going to the beach, spending the afternoon exploring shops and art galleries or trying one of the many quality and diverse range of eateries for breakfast, lunch or dinner it is all accessible on foot right from the doorstep. The balcony which overlooks the estuary is the perfect spot for taking in the sights of the bird and marine life or for watching the coming and going of the boats on the water. 

Please note that this property does not accept children under the age of 8.

Entrance to hall leading to lounge with two seater sofa, 3 armchairs, smart TV, gas fire and access to balcony. Kitchen with electric cooker, gas hob, fridge with ice box, freezer, washer dryer, microwave and dining table to seat 4. First floor: Bedroom 1 with 4ft6in double bed. Bedroom 2 with 3ft twin beds. Family shower room with walk in shower, basin and WC. There are estuary views from the balcony, lounge, kitchen and both bedrooms.

One parking permit provided for guests for nearby car parks.

Depending on the time of year park in either Shadycombe car park (450 yards away) on Shadycombe road (if between Oct 1st - March 31st) or Creek car park (500 yards away) on Gould road (if between April 1st - Sept 30th).

  • Telephone: No telephone. Mobile signal good. Wi-Fi.
  • Pets: YES – up to 2 small dogs allowed. (£30.00 per dog per week).
  • Local facilities: Smalls Cove, Mill Bay, Sunny Cove across estuary by passenger ferry which departs from very near to the property. Sandy beaches at North and South Sands 1 mile. Shops – Good Co-op shop, bars and restaurants all easy walking distance. Kingsbridge with all facilities 6 miles.

June 2019

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was ideally for my elderly mother to potter in town and then quickly escape the crowds. The cottage was surprisingly quiet and the views were amazing.
