Description

If you are searching for a spacious and comfortable retreat with stunning sea views from most rooms as well as a sun terrace from where all this can be enjoyed, then we can’t think of a better destination than Seator. Perched on the cliff at the end of a lane above East Looe, this detached town house provides contemporary accommodation; the visitor can even leave the car in the parking space and take a short stroll down the lane to where the beach and the older quarter of the town await. If you can drag the kids away from the beach, there are plenty of other things to do, be it trying your hand at sea fishing, walking along the stunning South West Coastal Path to the fishing village of Polperro, driving to the famous Eden Project or just exploring this beautiful Celtic county. Then after a busy day, return to enjoy an al fresco meal on the terrace whilst the sun goes down. Sounds perfect, doesn’t it?

Relatively steep slope up to front entrance. Spacious living room with two bay windows, two sofas, two armchairs, wall mounted flat screen TV, Sky Digital, and DVD. Dining area with oak table and chairs to seat eight. Large kitchen with breakfast bar, gas hob, electric oven under, dishwasher, fridge, separate freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. Cloakroom with WC. Stairs to bedrooms. Master bedroom with 5ft king size bed and bay window. Second double bedroom with 4ft 6in double bed and further views. Two twin bedrooms, both with two 3ft single beds. Bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, hand basin and WC. There is a basement room which is useful for storage.

Decked sun terrace with balustrade overlooking the beach and furnished with picnic table and benches.

For one car (please note that the lane leading up to Seator is very narrow in places and care should be taken when approaching or leaving the property). Additional parking available in town (charges apply).

 • Included: Bed linen, towels (no beach towels), high chair, travel cot and stair gate, WiFi (super fast broadband - 60mgb), electricity and central heating (gas).
 • Pets: One medium size dogs over 18 months welcome. At an additional cost of £25.00 per pet, per week.
 • Telephone: No telephone provided. Mobile reception mixed.
 • Local Facilities: East Looe beach about 350 yards down the lane. Shops, pubs and restaurants all in Looe. Polperro 4 miles. Plymouth 21 miles. Truro 39 miles.

Please Note: Owing to the steep access and number of steps, Seator may be unsuitable for the elderly or infirm.

October 2017

We enjoyed our week at Seator hugely. The location is absolutely wonderful: looking right out over the beach. There is plenty of space, everything is clean and tidy and the house has all the amenities you would expect. Despite the steep hill (and there are plenty of those in Looe, so it's good for the exercise!) it really only took a few minutes to walk from the house to be in the centre of the town. We loved it there and hope to return.

April 2017

We stayed in February half term week. The cottage was very clean and the housekeeper was brilliant! She was very quick to sort out heating and broadband issues - thank you very much. The location of SEATOR is up a very steep hill, with one parking space, which could do with some work to it - just digging out the back to the car park space to make it level would help - as parking on a slope isn't ideal - as our car was scrapped at the front and back! The views were lovely, and the cottage has a nice homely feel about it, and it was very well equipped. Apologies for the delay in submitting this review.

November 2015

This was a wonderful house and the location was superb. The house was very comfortable, clean and extremely well equipped.

November 2015

We have just had a wonderful week in this superb, spacious and comfortable House, the views are outstanding and we found the accommodation completely satisfactory, we hope to return again next year and we would recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in Looe, although you do need to be quite fit as the House is high on the clifftops. We parked up our Car at the beginning of the week and did not move it until the day we were leaving, it really is that lovely in the House!!!We will definitely be back again,Thank You

July 2014

Seator was a lovely property - just as good as in the pictures (this is not always the case!!). Lovely and comfortable sofas and beds. Well equipped. Excellent location (even though accessed up a steep hill), the views are just lovely especially as we were lucky enough to have such lovely sunny weather. Would definitely recommend this property to friends. Thank you to the owners for allowing us to book their lovely property.

February 2014

Wonderful holiday in super property and location.

November 2013

A recommendation: in the website property description it states that: "there is also a basement sun room furnished with conservatory furniture (accessed from outside)" This "sun room" was very dirty and dusty and filled with old beach toys and bric a brac; there was some wicker furniture covered with an old blanket it was totally unusable. In this state it should not be drawn attention to. I can assure you that this did not detract from what was a fabulous holiday in one of the most comfortable and most beautifully located cottages we have been in.We loved the house and had a fab time!

Many thanks for your feedback and we're glad you enjoyed your stay at beautiful Seator! The owners had always planned to make the 'sun room' a useable space, but they have now decided to use it as storage - so you're correct, the description was not entirely accurate and as a result, we have removed mention of it on the website. Thanks again for your review and we look forward to welcoming you back to South Cornwall again soon!
