April 2018

We all had a wonderful weekend and were extremely comfortable in the house. I could have sat and looked out at the view for hours. What a fabulous position. It was beautifully clean and had everything we needed. Would thoroughly recommend it as a holiday let.

Yes! A very good area to visit and the house was in a good location.

April 2017

We needed to book early as we were coming for a wedding and wanted to be sure of our accommodation. Your system of expressing an interest and then being contacted when booking opened worked well, thank you. House had great views and worked well for our party in having the extra bathroom. Kitchen could do with smartening up a bit (eg door to fridge didn't close well) but this was a minor point compared with all the things we liked! Stair edges were not very clean, I dusted here myself as we had an inquisitive toddler coming! (nor skirtings behind beds if you happened to look for something you'd dropped) but otherwise clean. Useful to have some items provided, tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets etc. Heating did not always come on at times stated, possibly reprogrammed by a previous occupant. We used it manually at first and eventually worked out how to reprogramme ( not that we needed it much as it was a warm week) but this is maybe something that could be checked by the caretaker. Overall very satisfied and would certainly rebook if returning to the area with a similar sized party. Many thanks.
