With spectacular views from its elevated location in West Looe, yet still central to the town, St George’s Apartment is a great property in which to relax and enjoy a slower pace. On days when the weather is not so good, you can still enjoy the views from the comfort of your window seat in the huge bay window. Explore the rock pools at Hannafore beach which is further up the road, or even try your hand at crab fishing. Alternatively, visit the nearby quintessential fishing village of nearby Polperro or venture out to the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. For keen walkers, the South West Coastal Path is on the doorstep, offering miles of scenic walks for your enjoyment, and the rest of the beautiful South Cornwall coast is easily accessed from this bustling seaside town. **This property can be enjoyed alone, or booked with Rame Apartment (downstairs) for larger groups. **
Please Note: Short breaks are available in Low and Mid Season, please contact the Polperro office for further details: 01503 272 303.

We enjoyed our stay due to the outstanding location. The property has a great amount of space and good facilities (bathrooms, dishwasher etc). However lack of care on the equipment meant it felt neglected and made our holiday frustrating. Just a few examples: only 2 slots on the toaster working, most of the games incomplete, no battery in the kitchen clock, no sharp knives, only 1 unhygienic wooden chopping boards, scissors broken, kitchen tv remote missing requiring climbing on a chair to use etc etc. Appreciate that it might be difficult to keep track of everything throughout the season so how about a guestbook for people to leave a note if they spot something. Also there were a lot of basics missing - bin bags, just 3 dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, oven gloves, handsoap in the bathrooms. It did not occur to us that we would need to bring these so an expensive trip to the local shops stocking up on bulky items that then needed to be taken back home. Obviously these are not critical things and did not stop us enjoying our holiday but it does certainly discourage us from booking with Toad Hall again.
