Lovely well equipped cottage in a fantastic Totnes location in the heart of a really happening town. We came here as our first holiday as a family of four, with our three month old and our parents joined us for a couple of nights. We liked the little touches, wine and herbs and the helpful information folder. We loved Totnes and the South Hams area and felt there is so much more than we could fit into a week! Thank you and we will be back!
House is of very high standard, and has all mod cons. Owner was very helpful and very kind, with all questions and queries, which was really helpful as we travelled from abroad to be there. I was given detailed instruction on how to get there (very important with one way system), where to find the keys, parking permit, and even had a fresh pint of milk in the fridge, plus a cake, on day of arrival
Brilliant location a short stroll from Totnes High St. with its vibrant shops and cafes and unique atmosphere
Best holiday for awhile, easy to book, good communication, delightful cottage. Thank you.
The Cottage is really well equipped and very comfortable. The owner had very thoughtfully decorated it for us so it was really Christmassy and welcoming, such a nice touch and much appreciated by us all.
We stayed with our family of grown up teens and we all loved the cottage which had every possible comfort and plenty of character. We found the location was very convenient for shops, places to eat and the train station, which we used for lots of days out as we holidayed without a car. The owners are very kind and helpful and the cottage is both beautiful and homely.
Excellent place to stay, the cottage was a home from home, very comfortable in every respect and well equipped especially with an 18 month old baby. The owner called us a few times to confirm our stay, arrival etc and was very hospitable and professional, we also loved totnes and would definitely stay at stables cottages again.
This cottage could be recommended as a base to travel to by train.Well connected to public transport. The whole experience went well.
