Approached along a sweeping driveway and forming part of an impressive Victorian Villa is the beautifully presented and well-appointed Staverton Manor Apartment. The spacious, comfortable accommodation sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms with most of the rooms enjoying views over the beautiful lake which lies within the impressive grounds that surround Staverton Manor.  The apartment is ideal for families with a level garden area perfect for alfresco dining, relaxing in the loungers, or even a bounce around on the 16ft trampoline. Guests are able to enjoy the substantial grounds that surround Staverton Manor and the welcoming friendly owners who live within the grounds ensure guest’s privacy and enjoyment.

The apartment also enjoys the use of an indoor swimming pool, complete with inflatables for the children and/or adults who wish to join in with the fun. Alternatively, the full height glazed windows which overlook the lake and grounds beyond provide a peaceful and tranquil environment for those who would prefer to relax.

Set on the edge of the village of the popular village Staverton which boasts an award-winning country pub, one of the best surviving medieval bridges in Devon and the beautiful heritage railway station built in 1872 with the South Devon steam train running between Totnes and Buckfastleigh alongside the River Dart.

The property is remarkably private yet easily accessible being only 4 miles from the A38 expressway and only 3 miles from Totnes with all amenities, famous for its vibrant, bohemian culture and range of restaurants, bars and eclectic shops.

Bedroom 2 with 5ft bed and large full height windows with views over the lake and gardens beyond. Shower room with WC, basin and shower cubicle with seat and shower. Inner hallway to Bedroom 3 with 3ft bunk beds. Master bedroom with 5ft bed with full height windows overlooking the lake and grounds. Bathroom with basin, bath and electric shower over (no WC).  Kitchen with inset electric hob and single oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washer dryer. Door to inner hall and further door leading to the indoor swimming pool (including changing area and WC).

Guests can also use the delightful indoor swimming pool measuring 8 metres by 4 metres. The pool, complete with inflatables is 1.2 metres deep at the shallow end and 1.6 metres at the deep end.

The property is approached along an impressive sweeping driveway leading to the parking area. Steps (or a ramp if required) lead down to the apartment where there is a large level garden area accessed directly from the lounge in the apartment. This lawn area is perfect for the whole family with plenty of garden furniture to allow alfresco dining, loungers, children’s play swings and a 16ft trampoline (complete with a safety net). This space can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Sweeping driveway leads to parking area with ample space for 2 cars.

Absolutely amazing time had by all across 3 generations. The most comfortable beds ever with luxury bedding. Everything thought of as if it were the owners own home, fantastic quality furnishings and equipment with no compromise in quality. Stunning gardens, so peaceful and tranquil except for friendly chickens who provided delicious eggs for us! The pool was an oasis, so warm and so clean we never wanted to leave and Helen and Philip left loads of inflatables for kids to use as well as tonnes of indoor and outdoor toys including a trampoline. Would not hesitate to recommend this exceptional generous, warm and welcoming property and really hope to stay again asap! Thankyou!

Stayed in July 2018 - We have had a super time. The weather has been fantastic and the holiday accommodation has been all we could wish for. The pool was used frequently and our 2-year-old Grandson has grown in confidence over the week. The trampoline has been another source of amusement whilst the adults have taken great pleasure from the gardens and surrounding area. Thank you, we will be back!

Stayed in July 2018 - Our best holiday in the UK, very tranquil surroundings and plenty to keep our 3 year old busy for hours. We especially loved the pool and the trampoline and found that Phil and Helen were the perfect hosts who couldn't have been more generous. We hope to return in future years. Thank you!

Stayed in August 2018 - What an amazing place! Helen, Phil and Jessie were so welcoming. Never have we stayed in any accommodation where all the little details have been so well thought through. Apartment, pool and gardens are a treasure to be found. Already re-booked for next summer - can't wait to return!

Amazing place. Lovely tucked away setting with beautiful gardens and extremely comfortable well equipped apartment. The kids really enjoyed having the pool.
