Stonetown Cottage is delightful property, with enchanting landscaped gardens, situated in the peaceful village of Duloe, only a short drive to Looe and the picturesque Cornish coast. From the end of the garden you can see the ancient Bronze Age stone circle, and the cottage is close to the village Community Store and traditional pub/restaurant The Plough all a leisurely saunter away. This character-filled property is spacious, comfortable and impeccably presented from its attractive electric log effect fire in the large beamed sitting room to its deep window sills and bright and homely bedrooms – all in all, a perfect country ‘get-away’. The cottage is secluded, looking out over the beautifully kept terraced gardens, which are for guests' exclusive use (although attached to the rear and side of the owners house). These extensive gardens have several seating areas including a beautifully appointed summer house from which to enjoy the far-reaching views over the scenic Cornish countryside.
The historic local towns of Looe and Fowey are only 4 and 7 miles away respectively, whilst the picturesque fishing village of Polperro is just 6 miles away, making this a perfectly located holiday cottage from which to explore, with many beautiful beaches and popular attractions all within easy reach of the property by car. A delicious welcome pack awaits your arrival, including a traditional Cornish cream tea!

This was a beautiful property with a garden that was fully accessible to guests. The owners were friendly, approachable and not too intrusive. This is a real value for money gem. Wish I hadn’t told you now ????
Our second stay and the cottage was cosy and delightful. Lights and fire on when we arrived as well as a lit Christmas tree and mulled wine and mince pies. Just gorgeous.
Lovely well presented house and gardens owners really kind and helpful. House furnishings could do with update and better wifi.
Absolutely nothing at all. We have just returned after our third stay in 12 months and each time it is as good if not better than the time before. The owners, Colin and Mary always make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much for them.
A lovely cottage. Owners completely unobtrusive but it was clear that they took great pride in their property, the beautiful garden especially. The welcome gift of cream tea (with home-made jam and scones), local apple juice and a bottle of wine was exceptionally generous.
Lovely cottage, beautiful garden, extremely pleasant & helpful owners and a lovely friendly cat called Tiddy.
A very warm and comfortable well equipped cottage with a lot of character. The kitchen was fitted to a high standard but the dinning area would be a bit limited for 4 people. Parking was very good. The steps upstairs were manageable but a bit steep and awkward at the top. The owner's garden was very attractive with plenty of seating to enjoy it. The cream tea and wine on arrival were very welcome. .
There were two mistakes in your final letter to us. We thought with Stonetown Cottage there should be a rider in reference to customers who have limited mobility as the access to the bedrooms is not easy. Also the handover was brief
It is a pleasure to deal with your company, it is straightforward and if there is a problem of any kind it is easy to speak to a helpful person. We look forward to using your company again.
The property exceeded our expectations
I would recommend the cottage we stayed in to anyone very homely, owners very pleasant and welcoming.
We had a wonderful holiday, excellent value for money. The cottage was very comfortable and in an excellent location close to all amenities but still very quiet and rural.
