We had a wonderful time, we have never been to Hope cove before and we enjoyed exploring the area. The views are breathtaking . Surfview is in an excellent spot, very convenient for the beach and the village.
Some minor points: Rubbish wheelie bin had not been emptied and was so full lid wouldn't shut making disposable of our rubbish difficult until bin men arrived on Wednesday. Wheelie bin is smaller than next door properties and an upgrade to a larger one would probably solve this. Spanner has been lost on child / dog gate making it difficult to fix in position. Two more saucepans would help. Some additional board games etc. for children would be nice. Otherwise everything worked as it should and cottage was ideal for our needs. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to be back next year!
It is great to see you had such a good time and we look forward to seeing you again in the future. Many thanks for your useful feedback, we will be sure to pass on your comments to the owner.

Absolutely love Hope Cove and Toad Hall Cottages are exceptional-good service and a good selection of properties. Surf View is well located-lovely to be on beach with dog 5 minutes after leaving house and sea views from property absolutely beautiful.
We have been using Toad Hall Cottages in Hope Cove, Devon for a number of years now, mostly visiting during the Autumn Half Term. This was our first visit in May/June and I fell in love with Hope Cove all over again...fantastic weather helped...however, the place is beautiful at any time. It was our first stay in Surf View, which was fantastic; bright, modern, clean and a very high standard of accommodation, if a wee bit expensive at the time of year that we can only go, but worth it. Absolutely loved everything and the Toad Hall Cottages agents are always helpful if needed.
