October 2018

The Ale House was the perfect base for our holiday. The accommodation is so versatile, plenty of space for us to spread out. Bed linen and towels are of very good quality and welcome pack was much appreciated. Wood burner was a real treat for us all and the heating worked well in the cold weather. Would re-visit in the future but understand it will no longer be available after this season. The house is beautiful and makes a wonderful home.

September 2018

Apart from having no hand soap at all, everything was superb. A beautiful house, very well appointed. Loved it.

August 2018

Really enjoyed our stay!

July 2018

The house was amazing, incredibly comfortable and in a perfect location. Wished we had booked another week

April 2018

The Ale House was a perfect spot for us over Easter; beautifully decorated and so much space, with two separate living rooms and a lovely open plan kitchen/diner. The house is full of light, and really well-equipped, and the beds were gorgeous. The house is on a quiet road, but so close to everything in the centre. We tried several great restaurants, and walked up along the estuary with the dogs. We will be back!
