With a mile of shingle beach, a great local pub and restaurant serving a varied menu and locally caught fish, a popular fish shack and café, a children’s play park and village green, a freshwater lake, bird sanctuary and area of natural interest, all surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside and situated right on the South West Coast path, there’s plenty for everyone to do. The bustling market town of Kingsbridge has a good selection of shops and restaurants twenty minutes away, as does the historic naval town of Dartmouth which is also worth a visit. This is a truly idyllic place to enjoy a seaside holiday, and if that’s not enough, then there are many other attractions in the area for all to enjoy.

Hi, my name is Alex and as as the property manager who looks after The Anchorage I would like to mention some of the reasons why I think you’ll like this property, joining us for the 2019 season. Don't be put off that The Anchorage is not yet seen in all its glory, this property is in a great location, being on the beach, with the green just in front for children, dogs, and adults to enjoy! The property is large and spacious with a really good sized kitchen diner, perfect for a special occasion such as Christmas. There is a large level lawn at the front and a large enclosed lawn at the rear. All the rooms are well proportioned and with two living rooms available guests can relax together or separately. Beesands itself has a long stretch of beach, with views across to Start Point, and direct access to the South West Coast Path. The Cricket Inn is a popular pub and the Britannia Seafood Restaurant also comes highly recommended. Beesands is a really super village for a seaside holiday, The Anchorage is a great property for family or friends to gather and really enjoy this wonderful area.
