Description

The Cottage is a wonderful property with a traditional appearance offering all modern home comforts and quietly located near to the centre of the seaside village of Charmouth. It has just the right ingredients needed to enjoy a relaxing break and is less than ten minutes walk to the beach and local amenities. A fabulous cottage, equipped and furnished to a high standard with everything you would need for an unforgettable holiday by the sea.  This delightful house has a spacious kitchen/diner which leads through to a comfortable and inviting lounge with ample seating for all.  With the addition of its light and airy conservatory, that warms quickly in the morning sunshine, dining can be enjoyed at all times of the day and the french doors open up onto an enclosed patio area with further outdoor seating.

Located in the heart of this lovely West Dorset seaside village, just a few minutes level walk from the beach. Voted second in the country according to The Times top ten best villages, and famously featuring in the television series Broadchurch.  Charmouth has a small selection of shops and a post office as well as pubs, cafes and restaurants. The Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre on the seafront provides a wealth of information about local geology, rock pooling and fossil collecting. There is also a large park, with a well equipped children's playground, just a couple of minutes' walk from the cottage. Charmouth is a great location for walkers; the South West Coast footpath and a network of inland footpaths allow visitors to explore the stunning West Dorset coast and countryside. There are also regular bus routes running through the village along the Jurassic coast and it's only a five minute drive to the historic seaside town of Lyme Regis with its famous Cobb Harbour.

Outside: Fully enclosed paved patio with furniture.  Gate opening onto gravel drive with private parking. First floor: Bedroom 1with king size bed. Bedroom 2 with king size bed. Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Bathroom with large walk in shower, W.C. and basin.

A beautiful appointed cottage, in a very quite location with a modern interior and good quality furnishings, it had everything we required. The milk and biscuits on arrival were appreciated. We visit this area frequently and would not hesitate to stay again, and would be happy to recommended this property to our family and friends.

The cottage was lovely we had a good week. The milk and biscuits when we arrived were welcome we were able to have a nice cup f tea before we unpacked. The internet connection was great.We had a really nice meal n the local pub it was good value for money n only two minutes away if that

The Cottage had all amenities and was very clean and comfortable with lots of space, we have stayed in about 30 properties over the years but are struggling to think of a better one. It was a great base for visiting the area.
