The Dairy is a high quality, newly refurbished holiday property, just five minutes drive from Lyme Regis and Charmouth with stunning rural views. One of three holiday properties at this location situated in the grounds of a non-working farm, on the Dorset/Devon border, very close to the beautiful Jurassic Coast. The farm is easily accessed at the end of a private driveway leading directly from the main road. The surrounding woods and farmland are home to a wide variety of wildlife including deer, badgers, foxes and buzzards. The pretty West Dorset seaside town of Lyme Regis and the coastal village of Charmouth are both just a couple of miles away. The attractive East Devon market town of Axminster, home to Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's popular River Cottage Canteen, is about a 4 mile drive. This property is ideally suited to those seeking a countryside location close to the sea, or for walkers who will be drawn to this wonderful location by the wealth of walking countryside in this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Visitors wanting to explore the local area will find themselves well placed to easily access the many attractions of East Devon, West Dorset and South Somerset. 

The Dairy is a self-contained, two bedroom barn conversion and provides spacious and well-equipped accommodation for families (or two sets of couples) in a tranquil setting. Open plan living area, galley kitchen with electric cooker, fridge with icebox and microwave, open to large lounge/dining area with TV/DVD. Picture windows and French doors leading to a private terrace/patio with furniture. Bedroom 1 with a 6ft double bed, en suite bathroom with shower over the bath and W.C. Bedroom 2 with 3ft twin beds (can be made up as a super king size double - please request when booking if required.) with en suite bathroom, shower over bath and W.C. Separate shower room with shower cubicle, W.C.

Off-road parking for up to two cars.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Dairy has excellent facilities, is very clean and comfortable. Fabulous views and very well located for Charmouth and Lyme Regis. There were nice touches, such as, the flowers and the biscuits and food for the birds. Having stayed elsewhere we arrived without anything to make a drink and Mandy kindly provided us with coffee, milk and sugar to save us going back out. This was a lovely gesture for which we were very grateful. We would definitely recommend The Dairy to our friends and family if they wanted to stay in this area.

Despite comments above, we did very much enjoy our stay. The Dairy is spacious and generally well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches - and the owners were very welcoming.

Very enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend. Owners very welcoming. The wildlife at the back of the cottage made the holiday all the more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and have already started recommending it to friends and family. Thank you.
