The Hideaway is a well presented and comfortable property, with rooftop views across Lyme Regis town, towards the sea and historic Cobb. This first floor apartment has a true holiday appeal and is conveniently located within two minutes' walk of the seafront, shops and restaurants. Quietly tucked away in the heart of the unspoilt coastal town, this quality flat is generous in size, finished to a high standard with a well equipped kitchen/diner, attractive lounge with sofa bed, large flat screen TV and delightful double bedroom and en-suite. Perfect for couples or a young family looking to enjoy a wonderful holiday by the sea.
As well as a sandy beach and seafront promenade, Lyme Regis includes celebrity chef Mark Hix's superb Oyster and Seafood Restaurant, along with many other restaurants, cafes, pubs and tearooms. The town is a wonderful location for those seeking a traditional seaside break. A wide selection of independent shops, as well as an award winning museum, and a small theatre can be found. For the more adventurous the South West Coast Path heads west through the amazing Undercliff between Lyme Regis and Axmouth, or east towards Charmouth and the magnificent National Trust land at Golden Cap. If you are planning a holiday without a car, the mainline railway station in nearby Axminster is served by a regular bus service (or taxis), to and from the town.

Kitchen with dining table to seat 4, built in electric hob and oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Bedroom 1: with 4ft 6in double bed and en-suite shower room, hand basin and WC.

There is an allocated off-road garage space for one car - please note that this is 200m from the property and parking is inside the garage only. There is a height restriction on the garage of 1.85m, the width is 2.2m and it is 5.1m long.
Nearest public parking 5 minute’s walk. The closest long stay car park in Lyme Regis is Charmouth Road (DT7 3DW). For 2016 this carpark is £2 per day. It is within easy walking distance of the property, town centre and seafront.

We had a lovely week in the hideaway in Lyme Regis. The apartment was very convenient for the town and beach. Lots of useful information in the flat about walks and the local area. We were also very impressed at the council for recycling food waste, something our council doesn't do and shops for letting customers reuse containers. Well done Dorset
Excellent throughout. For people of a larger size the shower cubicle circumference may prove to be problematic. I am only mentioning this one point as it’s the one aspect that has prevented us from recommending the hideaway (which we thoroughly enjoyed) to ALL of our friends.
We had a brilliant time. The cottage is perfectly located and Lyme Regis is wonderful. The staff in the Toad Hall office were very helpful when I forgot the keylock number, and the owners were too when there was a problem with the cot. We would happily stay there again, or use Toad Hall again.

An interesting flat in good condition. Hidden away up an alleyway it is away from traffic noise and a very short walk from resort centre. No parking but; a garage is available though not big enough for a large car. Charmouth Road car park is not far and only £2 a day. A comfortable, enjoyable stay.
Had a lovely Christmas Week. Was fab to come back to a warm and cosy flat after our days out exploring. Welcome gifts and Christmas Decs much appreciated.

We had a lovely stay at the Hideaway. Small mix up with the wrong key code given. It was sorted out very quickly though and we had a fantastic week and hope to return in the future.
Providing biscuits, wine and fresh flowers with the welcome note was a really nice touch and complimentary tea, coffee and sugar for the whole stay was brilliant and much appreciated.
Yes, the property was ideally situated for exploring Lyme Regis and surrounding areas. Loved the view to The Cobb over the rooftops from the window as described in the details.
Lovely apartment, which was better than the photos. Great touch to have biscuits, wine and flowers on arrival as well as tea, coffee and milk. Very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Having a parking space nearby a big plus. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, in particular the view to the Cobb kept drawing us to stand at the window and look at the changing tide in the harbour. The Town Mill around the corner is a lovely place to visit to eat and stroll through to the main street in town. Use of a garage is an excellent selling point for the property in a busy resort such as Lyme Regis. We have travelled a lot using different types of self-catering accommodation and find that the Hideaway will be amongst the top 10 of our favourite places to stay. Thank you.
