Delightfully positioned in the heart of the pretty and unspoilt village of Noss Mayo, South Devon, The Loft, Point House will undoubtedly enchant both couples and families seeking a peaceful retreat that is within a stone’s throw of the water’s edge as well as an abundance of water activities that the village is so well renowned for.  Within a moments walk from one of the village’s most popular pubs, this apartment is set back from a little single lane road that meanders along the edge of the River Yealm, through National Trust woodland to the scenic coast path; thus, guests to this apartment will be spoilt for choice in what to explore first from its front door. 

The duplex apartment is light, bright and tastefully presented with crisp neutral finishes, and its open plan living area boasts a Juliet balcony from which views of the creek can be enjoyed.  With both parking and a sunny private patio, the owners who live adjoining the property, have ensured guest privacy.  Whatever the time of the year, and whether seeking an active or relaxing holiday, The Loft, Point House wont fail to delight in offering a welcoming  and cosy bolthole.

External steps to front door.  Light and bright open plan living area with leather sofa, two chairs, dining table to seat 4, TV, DVD player and CD player.  Double doors of a Juliet balcony open to overlook the creek.  The modern kitchen area is well equipped with a built-in electric hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer.  Double bedroom with 4ft 6in double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and en suite shower room with shower cubicle, heated towel rail, wash basin and WC.  Stairs down to the twin bedroom with two 3ft single low level beds or these can be arranged to create a standard height single bed.  En suite cloakroom with wash basin, heated towel rail and WC.  Please note that access to the only shower is via the double bedroom. Due to the nature and layout of property it is not suitable for 4 adults. 

Sunny private decked patio to the side of the property with estuary glimpses.  Perfect for al fresco dining and is appointed with table, chairs and barbecue. 

Shared use of ground floor shower room accessed from the parking area.  Ideal for showering after the beach or washing down wetsuits or sailing gear.

Space for two small cars or one large car on the driveway in front of the apartment. 

  • Included: Bed linen, towels (please provide your own beach towels), WiFi, high chair, travel cot, electricity, central heating (gas).

  • Dogs: One small – medium sized dog welcome (pet charge £25.00 per week).

  • Local Facilities:  Beaches at Stoke Beach 1.5 miles and Mothecombe 5 miles. Noss Mayo pubs The Ship Inn 50 meters & The Swan Inn 5 minutes’ walk.  Shop, pub and butcher in Newton Ferrers (accessible via footpath across the causeway between the two villages at low tide) or 1.5 mile walk / drive around estuary.  Estuary & coastal footpaths within a short walk.  Plymouth with a wider selection of facilities 10 miles.

Lovely location and perfect property for 4. Enjoyed the Ship Inn so easy and comfortable. Noss Mayo is an understated and pretty unspoilt Devon beauty spot. Enjoyed a Devon cream tea at Katherine & Andys on a glorious Sunday afternoon with a beautiful view over the water from their elevated terrace. A real must for a Saturday, Subday or Bank holiday in Noss Mayo.
