The barn is spacious, tastefully decorated with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. It is in a quiet location within easy reach of great beaches, cliff walks & the ferry to Salcombe for those interested in local shops. The Cafe/restaurant at Gara Rock is amazing as are its views - so well worth a visit. We had our groceries delivered by a supermarket home delivery service which added to the convenience for us. Highly recommended.
What a lovely holiday at 'The Malthouse' this summer. Perfect size for the six of us and Barney, our lab. The house is well-equipped and decorated to a very high standard with loads of space but still cosy. It's a peaceful rural gem within easy reach of holiday spots. We were spoilt for choice - stunning coastal walks, safe beaches for the children and dog and lovely for picnics. Salcombe is nearby, an easy walk away with lots of great places to eat and shops to browse. We will definitely be returning
