Guests can also source salad dressings and spicy nuts to nibble with a glass of wine from the owner, made next door to the cottage. Situated in a stunning location 1 mile from the delightful village of East Portlemouth and perfectly located for walking enthusiasts keen to explore the captivating scenery along the South West Coast path, or a family holiday with coves and beaches to explore.  A truly divine place to enjoy a cosy winter break or a base for a splendid summer holiday.

East Portlemouth is situated over the water from the popular town of Salcombe with shops, restaurants and cafes a passenger ferry to and from East Portlemouth. The village boasts some spectacular scenery over the estuary to Kingsbridge and South Pool. Situated on the South West Coast Path with all the scenery and history it has to offer. Beautiful sandy beaches are close by, most of which are dog friendly, this beautiful area has all the charm for a picturesque seaside holiday. The Gara Rock offers panoramic views out over the sea and the dramatic coastline and serving delicious responsibly sourced food and drink just half a mile away from this lovely cottage.

Front door from patio leads into open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Kitchen area with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with good size ice box, utility cupboard with washing machine. Dining table with seating for 4. Living area with sofa and armchair, Freeview TV with integral DVD player. Upstairs to landing with twin bedroom, 2 3’ beds (could be pushed together but not zip link). Master bedroom 4’6’’ double bed. Bathroom with sloping ceiling, small bath with hand held shower, WC and basin.

Private garden, patio area and gravelled garden area. Path around the side of the property to gated access.
