Waterside sits in a glorious position overlooking Salcombe estuary, the beach, and the popular sailing town beyond. This beautiful villa style property is a much loved family home with a welcoming feel. Attractively and comfortably furnished throughout there's a large sunny garden with plenty of spaces to relax and enjoy the amazing scenery and a fabulous watch point that juts out into the estuary giving spectacular views up and down the water from where you can watch the world float by, festival fireworks or just to unwind and enjoy being in sight and sound of the sea. Steps give direct access to the sandy beach at the bottom of the garden and a mooring means guests can bring or hire a boat and make the most of this marvellous location using the water to access Kingsbridge, Salcombe and during high tide enjoy a meal at the Millbrook Inn at South Pool. With spacious bedrooms having views over the water and plenty of comfortable living space throughout this is a truly special property for families and friends to make unforgettable memories and enjoy a superb holiday.

The Annex at Waterside is a stand alone apartment behind the main house with a good size patio just outside. The apartment itself has a well laid out living and kitchen area, with log burner and views out over the water, a shower room and a good size bedroom. This charming  annex provides additional accommodation for large parties or can be rented on its own for a cosy winter retreat when the main house is empty.

East Portlemouth sits opposite the popular town of Salcombe which is easily accessed from this stunning property via the passenger ferry 200 yards away. The village itself has a café and some fabulous sandy beaches along with direct access to the South West Coast Path. A very scenic two mile walk takes you to The Gara Rock Hotel, serving delicious food with some of the best scenery a restaurant could provide. The bustling market town of Kingsbridge is a thirty minute drive away, with shops, pubs, eateries and a cinema and in the other direction along the picturesque coastal road is the historic Naval town of Dartmouth, again well serviced with amenities. This popular location along with this fantastic property have all the ingredients for an idyllic holiday come rain or shine.

Step into hallway, door through to snug, two seater sofa and chair, small desk and desk chair, TV and DVD. Door through to utility room, washing machine, dryer, additional tall fridge and tall freezer. 2 large double sink. From hallway stairs to first floor, upstairs WC and hand basin. Master bedroom Superking bed, double aspect views over the estuary to Salcombe, TV, en suite bathroom basin, shower cubicle, bath, WC. Childrens bedroom childs’ bunk beds and a 3ft single. Bedroom 3 5ft double, views over the estuary and Salcombe, Ipod dock. Family bathroom, basin, shower cubicle, bath, WC and bidet. Bedroom 4 5ft double.

We had a fantastic week at Waterside. The space and location is unbeatable in our opinion.

In our opinion Waterside is a must! We had the most wonderful family holiday in this beautiful house which is literally on the water's edge. Waterside greets you as you enter the front door and envelopes you in its' peace. It has a relaxed feeling of a much loved home, in a unique position with a magical view which is ever changing as the light changes. To have a lovely sandy beach at the bottom of the garden is a huge bonus, and one can walk along to the 5 minute ferry to Salcombe, or along the beach to Mill Bay and then through the woodlands. The house is light spacious and very comfortable and the annexe is a great bonus too. We were away from the hustle and bustle and all the family aged between 4 and 70 loved every minute!
