Steps give direct access to the sandy beach at the bottom of the garden and a mooring means guests can bring or hire a boat and make the most of this marvellous location using the water to access Kingsbridge, Salcombe and during high tide enjoy a meal at the Millbrook Inn at South Pool. The Annex at Waterside is a stand alone apartment behind the main house with a good size patio just outside. The apartment itself has a well laid out living and kitchen area, with log burner and views out over the water, a shower room and a good size bedroom. This charming  annex provides additional accommodation for large parties or can be rented on its own for a cosy winter retreat when the main house is empty.

East Portlemouth sits opposite the popular town of Salcombe which is easily accessed from this stunning property via the passenger ferry 200 yards away. The village itself has a café and some fabulous sandy beaches along with direct access to the South West Coast Path. A very scenic two mile walk takes you to The Gara Rock Hotel, serving delicious food with some of the best scenery a restaurant could provide. The bustling market town of Kingsbridge is a thirty minute drive away, with shops, pubs, eateries and a cinema and in the other direction along the picturesque coastal road is the historic Naval town of Dartmouth, again well serviced with amenities. This popular location along with this fantastic property have all the ingredients for an idyllic holiday come rain or shine.
