Arriving at West House is a complete delight, with magnificent views across the bustling village of Polperro nestled in the little valley below, across the historic harbour and out to the sparkling sea, it is a wonderful sight in all seasons. These fabulous views, possibly the best in Polperro, can be seen from virtually every window in the house and from the beautifully planted garden, the latter being a sun-trap with charming seating areas to relax in or dine alfresco style on those summer days. This well-furnished and equipped house offers you space and comfort in every room, with ample parking in the private driveway, and very close to the miles of Costal Path that follows the spectacular clifftop walks for those who like outstandingly scenic exercise. A holiday home you will not forget.

Prettily laid out gardens with lawns, paved side patio with picnic table/bench plus other outside furniture in various areas, all with wonderful views. Summerhouse with seating, and a BBQ area.
Please Note the summer house second lawned area has no fencing, so young children must be supervised at all times, due to exposed steps and slopes.
Plenty of parking for two or more cars on the private single width narrow driveway. Guests will have to reverse in, or out.

Please note: Approximately 3 sets of 7 or 8 steps lead you up from the parking/driveway to the front lawn and entrance porch (approx. 22 in all)
Please note: The 5 minute walk into the village is down a steep narrow hill, so roughly 15 minutes' walk back up to the property. Although very narrow, you are also able to drive down this hill (one way).
We really enjoyed the stay. The location was stunning, with fabulous views of the harbour and the coast. The e-mail including events in the locality was thoughtful and helpful - we enjoyed the performance by the Fisherman's Choir as a result.
A very enjoyable property in an ideal location, only downside was the difficult vehicle access.
Had a fab stay, loved the cottage but hadn't realised just how steep the hill was, and as my daughter is 7 1/2 months pregnant , with hind sight not the best spot for us . But overall had a lovely holiday wonderful area and amazing weather.
