This unusual waterside property is a converted semi-detached boathouse on the shore of the Salcombe estuary. Although just a short walk from Kingsbridge, its secluded and peaceful location makes it seem that you are far away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Superb views from the balcony and most windows extend across the water to unspoiled countryside on the opposite side of the estuary. High tides often lap the footings of the house where small craft can be beached or moored and, with a slipway nearby, this is a great place to enjoy a water sport based holiday. Or just relax and watch the passing river craft, and enjoy the natural beauty with its abundant wildlife, of these stunning surroundings.
Please Note: The path, steps and stairs of the property make it unsuitable for frail persons.

Very much so
Westcliffe is a lovely property and we have rebooked for 10th August this year.
Yes, the house was in a great location and the views were amazing, especially from the balcony. The house had lots of space to accomadate everyone. Thank you!
Would not recommend or return to this one. But would rent next doors in future.
We had a fabulous holiday at Westcliffe. We highly recommend it. Superb location. breathtaking views. Lovely spacious living area in the cottage with ample balcony and garden space.
Very helpful staff on occasions telephoned with knowledge of propertry. Caretaker helpful & obliging
We loved Westcliffe and would happily have stayed there for ever. The quiet estuary view from our bedroom, sitting room and the wonderful balcony set the holiday scene: never dull thanks to the ebb and flow of the tide and wonderful bird life. How many houses have their own little egret to keep an eye out for? We enjoyed being able to moor our kayaksm oored below and made good use of them exploring the estuary and taking traffic free trips down to Salcombe.
We had a lovely holiday, there was enough space for 5 adults to either do their own thing when we returned each evening e.g. play guitar, look at the stars through our telescope, read, do one of the many jigsaw puzzles at the house or jus watch TV. The veranda was a great place to chill out with a glass of wine and watch the wildlife on the estuary.
We couldn't have asked for a better location and property to relax in and explore from - this will be a really memorable experience for years to come
Fab holiday, little peace of heaven just wish we could have stayed longer, thanks.
