Tucked away on the outskirts of Thurlestone, South Devon, Whitley Lodge Cottage is a superb detached single level holiday cottage offering space, comfort and a large garden in a peaceful location, perfect for families and couples from which to enjoy the surrounding area. Only one mile from the pretty thatched village of Thurlestone with its well stocked shop, superb links golf course and the welcoming local pub plus the sheltered sandy beaches of Thurlestone and nearby Bantham, great for surfing and sandcastles. A welcome tea tray is provided for guests on arrival and we recommend this smart holiday cottage very highly.

Spacious lounge diner with flat screen TV and DVD, large sofa, easy chair and bean bag. Kitchen, electric double oven with ceramic hob, microwave, large fridge freezer, dishwasher. Dining table to seat six. Bedroom 1 with king size bed, chest of drawers and hanging hooks. Bedroom 2 with 3ft single bed and tall boy. Bedroom 3 with two 3ft single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Shower room with basin, wc and heated towel rail. Family bathroom with basin, wc and heated towel rail. Utility cupboard with washine machine.

Beautiful fully enclosed garden laid to lawns and shrubs with garden furniture, barbecue and rotary clothes line.

Lovely welcoming hosts; attentive and helpful but did not encroach on our privacy. The garden is a real bonus - sunny, private, well maintained and completely enclosed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this ideal location. The variety of beaches meant the children didn't get bored. We loved the walks that we did. Everyone we met was so friendly. We would like to visit the area again next year for longer but as a bigger party. If you have any properties, in the Thurlestone/South Milton area, on your books that could accommodate up to 15 people in one or two properties next to each other for the period 29th July 2018 for two weeks I would be very interested to hear from you.

We were highly amused to see the Toad Hall bus, which we travelled on (we should have sat further forward to avoid having Toad etc on the windows we were looking out of!!)
